i'm waiting on a voucher from yesterday, now i know it takes 24hrs but all my others (this is my 3rd one) were in the next day and now i've read this i'm abit worried, i can only hope they have a backlog and are updating there price checker properly, as i few prices instore had changed to asda's prices even tho it didn't say online when i was in last night
    DEC GC £463.67/£450
    EF- £110/COLOR]/£1000

    I agree.
I agree. T will have been hammered with probably hundreds or thousands of receipts to check in the last 24 hours obviousley they have'nt allocated enough staff to cope and therefore there is a backlog. The reason for the pricechecker moving is more than likely down to increased traffic issues messing up with there servers. I reckon the reason the pricechecker is down for so long is because they are double and triple checking there prices against asda's to make sure none of there prices are massively above asda's and once thats done they will issue the outstanding vouchers in bulk.

Thats why I took screenshots of every item I bought on their price check page. ;)

Screenshots arn't going to help anybody, its easy for people to manipuate the time/date on their computer, so they are not real proof.

I would argue they are as you say "fleeecing" the millions of ordinary shoppers who for whatever reason dont check the prices and end up paying upto 150% more than the price in Asda.

    Oo - n "argue" ment. ;)

To be fair, that works both ways. I benefited from Tescos Finish Quantumatic refills yesterday which were half the price of Asdas (obviously not in my DTD shopping). Quantumatic is the best forthe dishwasher, but soooo overpriced, so 24 washes for £3 was good I thought.

The implication that Tesco charges 150% more for its products is ludicrous. In this entire thread, I think only Bonjela achieved that accolade.

The prices are all still the same on the Tesco site so the deals are all there still to be done.
    The voucher claim site:

    https://www.tescopricecheck.com/PriceCheck/Pages/StoreCompare/Default.aspx

is still functioning as I've just made a claim in the last few minutes.

Do we think the vouchers we have already will be ok for awhile?

Vouchers already received, should have 28 days from receipt of the voucher to spend it.

But at the same time were you to raise a dispute with Tesco knowing that your information was correct and Tesco were to contest it then they would have to produce proof that the prices were different which in effect would mean that they would have to fiddle with their own system?

I'm not sure that Mr T would want to go down that road?
