Tesco/Asda pricechecker finds here.......

this price check update - something is not right.
it has never been like this. there hasn't been a delay whatsoever in the past; as soon as the date had updated, you could search without problems. very strange....
If the price check's not working then Mr T knows us savvy savers can't check the prices.....
Hmmm, very unsportsmanlike!0 -

Yep I think Tescos just spoilt all Our fun. But well done to all those who got their vouchers already. I have the one voucher and Am happy with that IF this has been stopped or silly rules/conditions placed on the DTD :TSaving the Pennies

Wonder if Tesco have realized that they have shot themselves in the foot with this one.Never let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.:beer:0

If you buy 6 they pay you neary a pound to take it out of the store! (with the 5% discount)
I'm a bit doubtful of getting my money back so this was my first test .... If all goes ok I will be more than happy to go get more!! Bottle 1 finished already
I love how everyone is pulling together on this - I think MrT are hoping to convert some people to use MrT rather than MrA ... I don't think they realise we are all money savers and like to shop around ... It will be good whilst it lasts though!!£2 Saver # 40 & SPC # 1465 & VSP # 94 £101.47/£100
Pay One Debt 2012 # 25 £480 / £4000
Personal Targets - Mum £70/£1820

Tis true, but they know we have been checking their website for comparable more expensive items, they said they were 'confident that our prices are cheaper' and were not expecting to give out vouchers for £100. It makes sense for them to do it, and it does not make it impossible to find the cheaper items in asda but there is now no guarentee that they have to honour it.0 -
Hopefully we will all get our vouchers in the morning, but just out of interest, we all brought our shopping while they are advertising the DTD promotion, so does this not form part of the contract. Im guessing if Tesco pull this straight away Trading Standards would have something to say0

Personally ive never seen such community spirit, its infectous and, i have to say, makes a great change!!0 -
i agree and if they have spies following the thread know we are relying on the price checker to fleece them
so if you have a voucher you won't want to use it yet
delay in sending out vouchers means we are all sat in front of our laptops swaeting and not shopping!!
double shot in the foot for Mr T:
1.send us the vouchers-we shop with you but fleece you
2.don't send us the vouchers no way i will be shopping in tesco again
(rip off prices has taken on a whole new meaning)
i guess pulling the price checker down is the quickest way of mr T putting a halt to proceddings while he decides what his next move is........GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED
Please press the thanks button when someone has helped!0 -

Depending on what is actually going on with it will decide on How I spend my voucher. May buy all DTD items again from my list or may buy my usual foodshop Using it.
It might be that it's this kind of abuse of the system where people are clearly claiming much more than their £100 a month 'allowance' that has seen Tesco buck their ideas up.
I wouldn't be that surprised to see the Ts & Cs revised and that only vouchers with a valid Clubcard will be checked. Whether or not their current set of tills can handle checking to see whether or not people are defrauding them remains to be seen.0
