Afternoon all.... beautiful day :j
Friends appointment went well yesterday. Appt was earlier than expected, so we did a bit of a Thelma and Louise and went on a road trip over to Liverpool and caught up with another friend. We played hookey and went to Albert Dock and had lunch there, then i dropped her at the airport. Left the house at 8.30am and got back at 5.30pm
Didn't do a stroke of flying last night as I was so exhausted. Must have driven over a 100 miles, and I'm just not used to it!
Today I have been to the Trafford centre. Bought a pair of shoes for work - much needed. Also met Mumof5 with her DH and my DH and we had coffee and put the world to rights. They've gone off to the footy. So, now I am home, the sun is shining, and I can see ALL the muck. Heading for an HHC then a krispy kreme as my reward
Catch you later xYesterday is history

Thanks for the milk suggestions guys.
Waiting for the large fruit cakes to come out of the oven, then will probably do some blueberry muffins (picked up 4 tubs of perfectly OK Mr S blueberries for £1 on the Market this week), then will come back and check out all suggestions.
Liking rice pudding ........... not liking that there's only me for dinner tonight and erm, I really really might get carried away with portion size. :rotfl: Haven't had my pudding rice out for ages ........ maybe a small portion (and therefore only a small amount of milk). Also talk of pancakes has made me think of Yorkies (for freezing). Found an interesting recipe for triple chocolate orange cake ...... but would need guinea pigs to test on (have a chocolate surplus too!)
if I wasn't already going out to dinner tonight I would be asking for directions:rotfl:then you could make that big rice pudding as well as the triple chocolate orange cake :rotfl:failing that me mrs chaos could pop round tomorrow:TSue
Do I need to eat it
Can I afford the calories:eek:
have I checked for a lower calorie version:T0 -

Had lunch outside. Hung rugs on remains of washing linewith mattress topper. Last rug in WM to be followed by duvet shortly... foxgloves planted. So another HHI is on the cards  and then probably washing the upstairs floors, cleaning the loo and hoovering/floorwashing downstairs (maybe with another HHI in the middle somewhere) and when I've got to the end of that lot I can go for a walk (via the bottle bank).
Tea drinking has kept me away from the chocolate so far... mind you, doing stuff rather than just sitting around using my brain probably helps too0 -
Bedroom all done and bedding changed
All washing out on the line drying in some very thick grey cloud - where did the sun go!
Meaning all lists completed for this week on Sat afternoon, its a record and frees up Sunday to do some gardening - yeah!
Just deciding on which cake to bake while watching the rugby - chocolate orange loaf cake, lemon drizzle or some muffins? Will see, or maybe 2?
