Thanks crafty. I've been doing LOTS of procrastinating (you know... so much to do you can't deal with any of it...) but last night I sat down and made a list of what I need to do today.
    You're welcome :)

I really posted it in the hope it would kick me into action.
They are forecasting slightly warmer weather next week so I will want to get into the garden - which means I need to sort a study plan (plus my first TMA is on the horizon)

I need to stop trying to read everything and getting in a panic and then doing other things to avoid studying and getting into a panic - if that makes sense :rotfl:

So - read the Block intro and the TMA question and work out what I need to cover - I am supposed to be doing this for pleasure.
  • In my HHC, I've tidied the kitchen, prepared breakfast in time for the rest of the family returning from swim club, and put on the WM :)

Going to carry on until everyone's home :j

    Have fun sexymouse

Well I've done more than I usually manage by this time of the morning... must be the sun (or panic!)

Upstairs hoovered (need to floor clean before I do the ironing). One load of washing done - it'll probably go in the TD as its still very soggy outside - so I can do the mattress topper and thin bit of the duvet as well today. Meter readings submitted. Agenda sent out for Monday evening's finance meeting. Work paperwork emailed to a colleague. Fitbug updated (steps only, not food... need to work up to that), bins emptied, recycling done, DW loaded with everything I can locate to go in it. Bottles in backpack ready for the first bottlebank run of the day (there's a crate in the shed to empty... I reckon its a good way of building some exercise into my day!).

So I need to get the washing into the dryer, reload the WM, find my ipod, collect a couple more bottles from the shed on the way out, and set off for my walk :)

any favourite milk using recipes here, that would be great.

Not a link so much as a suggestion, HM rice pudding :) yum yum

When I make this I use a can of carnation milk, a slew of pudding rice, generous sloshing of milk, good sprinkling of sugar and a dusting of nutmeg. Stir it all up and then put in the oven on a gentle heat.

    OK shower here I come.

    Morning all

Work got the better of me and I've not been around much this week. I think the busy weekend last week didn't help, as I've not managed to keep up with my dailies as well as before.

Things are calmer with DH at the moment, but DS1 is a WIP.

As usual, I want to do so much this weekend and I know it's not quite realistic, but I'll try. In no particular order there is:

town (DS2 hair cut and other bits and pieces)
local market and library (hope DS1 will do this)
costco (if I find the last voucher booklet to check if it's worth it)
    laundry
    HHCs in various rooms
    school work
    DS2 homework and reading
    tidy up outside
    sow some seeds
put plastic greenhouse up in DR
buy a litter tray and cat litter (it looks like our visitor is staying :D)
    budget
    various bits of admin/research

It's bright and sunny, so I'll grab some breakfast and get going. Had 2 cups of tea already. ;)

Thanks for all the support in the last couple of weeks. I hope everyone's ok. Oh, and welcome to all the new people. I can't wait for the next holidays so I can be around more. x

walked to the bottle bank and back (not direct routes either way). It's lovely outside now, so I'm going to put my duvet on the line to air and then get on with my HHI...

Hopefully I'll get through my list and have time for another walk to the bottle bank later today.
