Well, it was a little bit lonely out there, but I managed .........

Quick tidy round everywhere except kitchen
    WM ready to go
    Towels changed
    Dog beds and bowls changed
    Airing cupboard emptied
Washing sorted for the loads over the next few nights
Toilet roll changed (this is a complex task which, apparently, can only be carried out by yours truly)
Dining room curtain closed (another complex task which would be less so if the cord was changed, or the rail replaced - actually, that one is too complex for yours truly ........ unless Flyladies know differently!)
Dinner checked. This is actually a long way off being cooked. This is unfortunate.

So lots of ticks on my list :T

Now considering changing the bed - and timing it! I always put it off to the last job on a Friday - but I love having clean sheets for the weekend, so should just get on with it first probably!.

Then if I put the heating on, I can find out whether any of the washing on the airer is dry. At the moment I can't tell whether it's wet or just plain cold!

    Bye for now.

*Feels all smug cos am married to A Man Who Can Change A Loo Roll All By Himself!*:rotfl:

Oh boy, am I glad I did today's tasks yesterday. I've felt right ghastly today, was shaking like the proverbial leaf earlier! Only thing not covered is the ME-time; been scratching my head about that, as it's something I always struggle with.

Mr LW has been outside and cut the back lawn.:A We got home from town earlier than expected, as we've deferred visiting Mr T til Sunday. There's nothing desperately urgent on the list, and I simply did not feel well enough to cope with it today.

We have been to John Lewis and bought a replacement duvet cover and 2 pillowcases for the ones that will be stripped off the bed tomorrow, as they are worn out, and developing holes. Also got a new work shirt for Mr LW, and (exciting, this bit):D some new underpants.

Annoyingly, we have to go again tomorrow, as Superdrug didn't have all my meds in stock; they owe me 4 boxes of Moclobemide tablets.

take things easy LW - is there something you want to read, or a DVD you want to watch... I'd suggest a manicure or pedicure, but I know that you don't like dealing with strangers and if you're feeling worn out, you won't feel like doing them for yourself. Try to find something that's a little luxury for you (didn't you say you had a magazine that had arrived that you hadn't had time to look at... how about sitting down with a cuppa and that for 30 minutes)

I'm off travelling next week, so am currently going through my 'I hate travelling, I hate packing' phase... and generally feeling sorry for myself. Work is all a bit chaotic as well, so I have quite a bit of work that if not overdue, is in danger of being so and having a knock-on effect on everything else :(

Saw two houses yesterday... both nice, one a bit too small, the other lovely, but only if I have someone to help me do it up slowly over the years.... nothing that needs to be done to live in it, but a lot that can be done to make it nicer. Sadly I don't think I'll be able to take it on on my own. And I haven't actually sold my house yet... but unless ex makes his mind up to get back together and move in here by Easter, it's going on the market :) (although my dad isn't keen... he thinks I might be better of doing this place up...)

Finally caught up with my GP while sitting in a traffic jam to get the test results from about a month ago. Looks like its PCOS, so my giving up on diet and exercise has to be rectified immediately so that I can get it back under control. She's referring me to the consultant anyway, as I've got a polyp that needs dealing with anyway (sorry if TMI :p) so we'll see whether there are any other suggestions forthcoming.

As a displacement activity to distract from work, I've been creating an ironing pile. Tomorrow is going to have to be a very serious flying day. Then on Sunday I'm going to meet up with Froddy and Rach for lunch :D which I'm looking forward to.

Supper next (lamb & vegetable soup), then I think I'll give myself a pedicure and see whether I can inspire myself to break the back of some of this backlog of work that's getting to me. After all... anything is better than tackling the ironing pile right :o

OH changes loo rolls too .. it is great.. and he never pees on the seat or leaves the seat up. And he feeds the cats..

Kitchen cleaned.. the 3 small pinks did it after they trashed it this morning.. all sparkling just about.
I folded 6 loads of washing and it is now a put away.. inc the pile of Tiddles stuff I threw down the hallway and said was going in the bin.. the 3 of them scurried to pick it up and put it away.. i am sick of her whining about having to do stuff the others do.. she has arms and will do her share. The 3 of them were up about 5 this morning so were all shattered, tiddles even missed break cos she fell asleep in class! They are all in bed now with instructions to get their pit of a room tidied in the morning before i throw another wobby and bin all their stuff!

DD3 is on her first night with new no-pee medication so hopefully we will have our first dry night in 8 weeks.. fingers crossed!!

Thanks; I shall try to do just that! I guess I needed someone to give me permission.:D

Right, I'm signing off for now, in that case, and shall read what's happening in the world of the PDSA.

    Have a lovely evening, everyone.

You don't need permission to do something for yourself... its on the list... its COMPULSORY!!!

I'm giving myself a pedicure... soaking my feet while sitting on the sofa in front of the fire and pretending to work.

Tried a new place for waxing today, as the girl who used to do mine has left the salon I used to go to. This new place is great. Its tiny, in the spare room of a house 5 minutes walk from me, but the lady who runs it isn't a girl straight out of college (not that I have anything against them, but sometimes someone a bit older and more confident is handy... nothing worse than someone being tentative doing a bikini wax!) and is so much better than anyone I have been to for YEARS! I've just looked at my legs before plunging my feet into hot water, and she's done a very good job (clean shiny legs, no wax left behind, no plucked chicken effect).

Suppose I should attempt to do some work.... :o

LW I hope you feel better soon but in the mean time relax and take care of yourself

Scarlettesmum You have been spending your week doing a very important job by looking after your LO. Give yourself a break remember in the long run you wont remember the chores you didnt get done but the moment you enjoyed with your LO.

Greenbee I hope everything goes ok with the consultant when you see them and enjoy your lunch tomorrow.

Hugs and spoons to all who need or want them.

Well Hotspot didnt get sorted this afternoon as I felt so wretched and ended up having a lay down with the dog before going the vets. She says althogh the swelling has gone down dogbot is still not allowed out. :(

When we came home I sorted dinner and S&S kitchen before giving OH what for as he spent the day mountain biking and while I dont resent this I would really like it if he helped out when he is here especially when Im feeling as aweful as I am:mad::mad:.

Oh well off to watch some Red Nose day.
