  • Another one with a long want/need to do list - somewhat scuppered by a "oh woe is me" DS - yawned through his lesson and turned on waterworks when we suggested going out, so now in bed under duvet with cuddlies. Hopefully some sleep, and pizza for lunch will engender a better afternoon.

Lots of WM so far, and all on the line.
    DW filled & set on.
    Lunch just about prepped.
Hoovered downstairs - upstairs once himself has woken up.

    Later,
    Bathrooms
    Clean oven (after lunch)
Go try on dress I'm thinking about (as a tall lumpy shape it might not work)
    Catch up on invoicing
Start a need to do for party list (I'm a little out of practice on parties for under 4's)
Sweep up outside if it dries out enough/Weed too, but may be too wet
    Ebay. Ebay. Ebay

OK - coffee first - HHC at 11.30 anyone?

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

I'll join you Moam - got up a bit late :o (very late, only been conscious for about an hour!) so got all my dailies to do :)

After that's done I can get out in the garden....we were going to have our first BBQ today (it is really beautiful outside) but forgot we are going out to eat with MIL, FIL and SIL so will do it tomorrow.

First batch of ironing (tops) done. Next batch (pillowcases) prepared. Next task on the list is the sitting room, which is a little chaotic as I've pretty much been living in there over the past couple of days while it's been cold.

Doing better on food too... every time I think I'm hungry I'm having fennel tea...

Morning all, we got back from scotland yesterday then headed to i*ea for a nosey. Got a few ideas of what we need/want.

DW and WM both on, fire lit and kids been fed. Really need to shift today as the house is all oer the place. Rhys managed to sleep all night so i feel loads better today. :D

    Right plan of action.
    1) bring in coal.
    2) get washing out on line.
    3) check purple paint and see if there is enough.
    4) clear livingroom floor.
    5) empty suitcases and put away.
    6) fill in bedroom ceiling.
    7) get uniforms ready + PE bags + shoes.
    8) wash trainers.
    9) wipe worktops in kitchen.
    10) fold and put away clean clothes.

    That should do for now....:rotfl:
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Thanks for the milk suggestions guys.

Waiting for the large fruit cakes to come out of the oven, then will probably do some blueberry muffins (picked up 4 tubs of perfectly OK Mr S blueberries for £1 on the Market this week), then will come back and check out all suggestions. :D

Liking rice pudding ........... not liking that there's only me for dinner tonight and erm, I really really might get carried away with portion size. :rotfl: Haven't had my pudding rice out for ages ........ maybe a small portion (and therefore only a small amount of milk). Also talk of pancakes has made me think of Yorkies (for freezing). Found an interesting recipe for triple chocolate orange cake ...... but would need guinea pigs to test on (have a chocolate surplus too!)

Toots, thought about freezing it, but it has already been frozen once - which doesn't mean I'm averse to refreezing it if it's mine!

Off to declutter coffee ........ and put my shoes on!.
