Sitting room done, including moving furniture, damp wiping the thin film of ash off everything, hoovering the sofa, cleaning the glass on the stove, regluing the rope round the stove door and laying the fire. Also dealt with the washing line which decided to break  but luckily its nice and dry out so nothing suffered much. I've managed to restring it to half the length, so should still get the duvets and rugs washed (mattress topper and duvet need to go in the TD anyway to cook properly just in case a dust mite has survived the washing).
Next HHI (pillowcases) coming up...0 -
Mrs Chaos - a chocolate surplus is caused by a friend being given bars of OK-but-not-the-best-chocolate by an elderly gentleman she does bits and pieces for - as a thank you. As it's "OK" chocolate, she can't eat it as fast as it's given, and as she knows I use a lot of chocolate in baking, she passes some on to me in return for a charity donation. I reduce my baking bills, she gets money for charity, and the elderly gentleman is happy that he's giving presents. Three winners.
I believe I am procrastinating, given the state I left the kitchen in! I am off to do, not think about it. See you later.Work is not my Hobby0 -
Half the pillowcase pile done. Having a break to make lunch, feed the WM and work out where to plant the 6 foxgloves that my mother sent down last weekend...0

Afternoon all
Sexymouse Have a lovely time today
WM has been on and the load put on the line.
DW has been empied and is about to be refilled with lunch dishers. Ive hoovered upstairs, made beds and open all widowns to let the rooms air, Bathroom and kitchen have been S&S.
As the sun has been out ive been in the front and back garden on litter collecting mission and have brushed the paths.
Im now just stilling down with dogbot enjoying a coffee before I deceide what to do with the afternoon. I thinking I may get OH to take me to the garden centre to pick up some plants."Let your boat of life be light, pack only what you need- A homely home and simple pleasures, one or two friends worth the name, someone to love and someone who loves you, a cat, a dog, a pipe or two enough to eat, enough to wear and a little more than enough to drink, as thirst is a dangerous thing" Jerome k. Furniture being moved around here today, a mattress needs to go to MIL's attic. Lunch on now as i'm starving and no painting today because the paint has gone hard, paint shop closed so i'll have to wait until monday.
Gonna keep on decluttering today and some baking later. We've run out of oil and the earliest we can get it is tuesday. At least the fire is going and the cooker puts out alot of heat so we'll be fine. Hot water bottles and fleeces tonight.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0
