    I've just had 2 leprechauns offer to trim my bush... I didn't realise it was not pleasing on the eye.. I know it is a bit woolly.. but seriously.. it's not that bad!!!

    I wouldn't say I'mflying today, more bumping a long the bottom, but better than stationary! I have the ragu done for supper on Sunday and a cake in the over for tonight/the weekend.

  • Hi everyone, I’m not doing so well this week so I have written myself a long list of things to do before Monday.

    Slowly making progress

    1. Vacuum under the furniture you can move
    2. [STRIKE]Clean out your handbag.. how many receipts?? [/STRIKE]
    3. 15 minutes filing
    4. Clean baths, toilets, don't forget the outside! and sinks.. shine the taps with a toothbrush
    5. [STRIKE]Clear any clutter from desk [/STRIKE]
    6. [STRIKE]Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!![/STRIKE]
    7. [STRIKE]Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc [/STRIKE]
    8. [STRIKE] Empty and clean out all the upstairs bins! [/STRIKE]
    9. [STRIKE]Collect all the dirty laundry [/STRIKE]
    10. [STRIKE]Sort through that airing cupboard!! [/STRIKE]
    11. [STRIKE]Clear away anything that isn't in it's place, clothes, toys, books etc [/STRIKE]
    12. Make an appointment hairdressers
    13. 30 mins finance
    14. 30 mins planning
    15. Couple of hours on Scarletts book
    16. Couple of hours on photo albums
    17. Put up butterfly
    18. Peal wallpaper off ceiling in study
    19. Binbag dance
    20. Visit NCT sale for clothes till 18 months
    21. Write list to take to NCT sale
    22. Get C to call plasterer to get quote sometime next week/or week after
    23. [STRIKE] Half hour house rescue [/STRIKE]
    24. [STRIKE] Clean sticky stuff off the new photo albums [/STRIKE]
    25. [STRIKE] Put on washing [/STRIKE]

    27. Hang up wet washing
    28. Couple of hours cross stitch
    29. [STRIKE] Request home fire safety check [/STRIKE]
    30. Consolidate diaries and calendar
    31. Write letter of application for promotion at work.

    Need some more motivation though. Can someone spare a min to give me a kick

    Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs..
    [STRIKE] Vacuum & turn mattress before replacing with fresh linen..
    Air the duvet

    Level 3
    [STRIKE]Vacuum floors in bedroom and onlanding

    Sort 10 things from your wardrobe (or someone elses) that you can get rid of..
    Clear a hotspot.. or spend 15 minutes clearing one.

    • Binbag dance
    • [STRIKE] Clean windows in these rooms
    • [/STRIKE]Clear a box of clutter from the landing
    • Sort through that airing cupboard!!

    Friday ~ those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms
    Level One
    Clear away anything that isn't in it's place, clothes, toys, books etc
    Make an appointment for some ME-time.. hairdressers? manicure? night out with friends? .. whatever just do it!

    Level Two
    Vacuum the floordone yesterday but just the middles mind you!
    Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!! Don’t forget the light shade and curtain pole!!!
    Strip beds, turn and vacuum mattresses!! and replace with fresh linen .. check if duvets need freshening up too!!
    Level Three
    Clean 2 windows
    Make a start on sorting out the summer stuff to out away/get rid of
    Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors in the plan for post tea time carnage
    Extras
    15 minutes in the garden.. preparation for summer, planting, weeding or just enjoying!
    Wipe the radiators, skirtings and window & door frames!
    HHI
    Friday fling!! grab a binbag and fill it with stuff to leave the house.. rubbish or charity shop or to donate to a friend!

    Utilities sorted, now need to sort out all the bits of paper on my 'puter desk - then get back to sorting my study plan.

    Back from my HHC after over an hour. I got dressed got the washing in, ironed it and put it away and cleaned the bathroom. Started getting stuff out for packing and can't decide what to take so off to pick the car up and think about what clothes to take away.

    Wednesday ~ Bathroom and Study/Pc Area

    Just a quick pop in as having pc problems at home and can't access MSE.
    Amazing how much more time I have for cleaning now that my nose isn't stuck into the computer all morning!!!!
    Have been loving my flylady list. Doing at least level 2 up to 3 every day and have a much cleaner house for it. So thank you all for the encouragement. Amazing what I can do when someone tells me to get off my bum and do what is on the list!!!!!

    I'm trying hard but not getting far today.

    WMx3 done, bathroom S&S done, Bedroom chest of drawers dusted, DS2 off to school dressed as Harry Hill, DS2 IEP meeting attended(may be why I'm exhausted, his teacher was dressed as a shark)
    Sofa covers replaced.

    Sunflowers are growing well already. Sun is shining. :D
