    :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
holly its very difficult when you first work for yourself to get the balance right between home and work and more especially if you work from home - what about being strict and saying to yourslef that work starts at 10 say - set the timer and when it goes off you work on the business until stopping time - try to get into a routine if you can of working normal working hours like when the kids are at school - i know its easier said than done and I also know you will find a way (((hugs)))
Dontknowanymore hope your Grandad's funeral went ok and you all coped as best you could - my thoughts are with you and your family.
Congratulations Lauradora I hope you have a long and happy married life xx
jinky hope your back gets better quickly - take care not to overdo it at your new job x
Wilf i havent caught up on the thread so was wondering how the renovations are going - have they started yet?
grateful as long as you and everything needed for the baby is organised thats all that matters - fingers crossed and posi-vibes for a safe and quick delivery honey.
cat4772 ouch! sciatica is very painful - i hope you have something to ease the pain and it is less painful soon - in the meantime dont be doing anything toooooooooooooo energetic
vanilla thats good - it will give you a 2 hour breather as well (((hugs)))
wuvvies there is a link to the spoon theory on post 1
Dusty oh dear - sorry it did make me smile:o
dancemum how worrying for you - thank goodness nothing is broken (((hugs))) for you both

mummyyof5 (((hugs))) and arnica for your sore bits xx
carlsberggraaaaaaaaaaaaaan give them what for honey - its ridiculous all this red tape (((hugs)))

FRom last week I noticed 2 posts that I thought were absolutely brilliant
Mrs _B we all work better with a list and it is so encouraging for the newbies to read how you plan your day AND you are sooooooooo right - everything counts - even the things we do automatically - well done to you :A
and Artichoke another inspiring post from you too:A you plans for mornings after school and before beds are great routines and it obviously works in your house if you have the kids helping - well done - all you have to do is build on it as the kids get older and they will easily manage to help more and allow more free time for everyone.

Thanks for you posts and well done to you both:T:T

love, hugs, spoons and sticks as appropriate

will do my list in a mo but must sort out today's newbies

  • Thanks JulieJim,

How much did you get done?

It really motivated me that someone else was joining in. I've managed to get most rooms looking a lot better, changed a nappy, sang songs, put descaler in the washing machine, took down the dry washing (but not put away yet - I now how 2 loads sitting on my bed but will do that before I go to sleep), took up wet washing ready to hang up and fed the cats.

Could still do the washing up but at the moment I need to sit down and express some milk so Scarlett can have her dinner - this is easier said than done she's been feeding constantly recently I'm not sure there's much left!
