just invested (ebay) in a chocolate brown bucket chair and picked up today - to replace a large green leather floppy armchair that matches a suite that was replaced a few months ago. Suits the style of the room much better and looks fab - the room looks twice the size and the chair is so much lighter and easier to move to vacuum so am very pleased. Am keeping an eye out for another one - they are so neat-looking (neat in a design sense, not in an American sense!)

Timeout..... Fred catch-up.;) Got half a ton of stuff in the mail today, so the 15 Minutes Filing will deffo be happening later on, when I've seen to the finance spreadsheets (it included a credit card bill and this years Council Tax)

Happierdays awww, poor old Dogbot.:( Sending “swelling-go-down” vibes for the poor mutt.

Lauradora ooh, congratulations on your recent marriage. Wishing you many happy years together.

Sockdrawer I had to smile at your eldest lad phoning you from his bed! But tbh, I don't blame him; if he's genuinely unwell, just the act of getting up to speak to you would probably make him even more bleurrrggghhh. :o

nixie mine is currently decluttering a carrot on the kitchen floor. One of his favourite treats - strange animal.
Cat_smith one of my canine guests (a Westie) brought a bag of carrots with him – I had instructions that he was to be given one with his brekkie and one with his dins. He seemed to really love them, and would eat the carrot before the plate of meat!:D

Right, as Toots says, "Head down and batter on" because the living room isn't going to fly itself.:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

We're just back and hubby seems to have enjoyed the group meeting. He's back next thursday and every thursday for 6 weeks. :D

I managed to get a good few wallpaper samples so i'll let miss piggy decide when she gets home. Priced some built in units and it looks like i'll be saving for a long time to get them.

Plan now is finish my tea and start sanding the walls, then when i get home from school run i can get the first coat of painting done.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
