I've felt quite optimistic about the sciatica... until I got home and found a letter from occupational health that said although I was coping now, as this pregnancy progresses I'm going to find it increasingly difficult :(

I know that as the week progresses it gets worse and if I have a busy weekend then I start the week painfully. Wednesdays I'm at home but I tend to get lots done and no rest so that aggravates my back ready for Thursday. I see vicious circles here:p

Flyers there are too many non flying posts for a weekday- we do not want to fall foul of the admin people for not keeping to topic

remember what pigpen wrote in post 1......
Do not lose heart if you cannot keep up with everyone else or reading the thread, don't try to reply to everyone and please remember to include something about flying in all your posts, chat is for the weekend when your home is looking beautiful!!!

I am as bad as anyone else and i think we all need a reminder now and then - we do not want to cause any problems for PenPen either.

    toots xx

cat - speaking as a recently sore (but categorically NOT pg) person who is mostly in denial - you have to be realistic about what you can do. Pretending it isnt happening and forcing yourself to do things is futile, you just end up tired, sore and depressed. However much it upsets you, you must make adjustments. I am (probably) needlessly sore becase I refuse to give in to my problem.

This morning I stripped our bedding and put it in the WM, emptied and filled the DW, cleaned the BR, and started tidying ready to hoover and then dropped the boys at school. I went to work via the co-op for essential supplies and made it to work with two minutes to spare. In the lunchbreak I don't get I sorted the milkman and swimming lessons for the boys. I got back to the village with 10 minutes to spare, so I came home and hoovered the ground floor and put our bedding in the TD before getting the boys. Took the boys to the park after school for 15 minutes, came home, cooked dinner, forgot milk and went back to the co-op, served dinner, acted as international peacemaker during row between OH and SS1 (yawns - ongoing), assisted with homework and reading, found pjs and sent boys for shower, re-filled DW, fed the animals, put the hens to bed, and put the WM on again because someone spilt muesli over the clean uniforms. I still need to go up and switch the boys light off, make our bed, sort everyones clothes for tomorrow and make packed lunches. It helps that I am not the only one on here who does this but I only work part time and I am lost in awe for anyone who had children and manages to work full time and remain vaguely sane and organised.

 Good to see you toots hope you are not to bored?

and a huge thanks to Asbo Toots:A:T

    Thanks JulieJim,

How much did you get done?

It really motivated me that someone else was joining in. I've managed to get most rooms looking a lot better, changed a nappy, sang songs, put descaler in the washing machine, took down the dry washing (but not put away yet - I now how 2 loads sitting on my bed but will do that before I go to sleep), took up wet washing ready to hang up and fed the cats.

Could still do the washing up but at the moment I need to sit down and express some milk so Scarlett can have her dinner - this is easier said than done she's been feeding constantly recently I'm not sure there's much left!

    ScarlettsMum

Well done but, rest, drink and rest. You are breastfeeding a baby which is a very important job, the housework will always be there but Scarlet will not be a babe forever. Don't be harsh on yourself.

Knees back to being in working order for now.

Toots glad you are home hun, rest for you too!

Most of my flying done for the day. I need to set the DW and WM in a minute and I'm hoping DH will be home to do the cricket run
