I love it when the God bother's come round-they love it when I engage them in a prolonged conversation about just which bits of the bible the believe and which bits they choose to ignore and that despite a full century of scientific insights attesting to the antiquity of the earth, they believe that the entire cosmos was created six thousand years ago. This is, incidentally, about a thousand years after the Sumerians invented glue. Religious nutters- I love 'em (just not the muzzies though, those guys are proper mental).

I do the same never answer the door unless expecting visitors. Once in a blue moon I may get someone come who I'm not expecting but most people in that case with no answer but with a car in will phone whilst on the doorstep (I could be in the bath/gone to post a letter) so my not answering unless I'm expecting someone still hasn't been a problem.

In the 3 weeks ive not been at work we have had 1 guy trying to sign us up for n power energy and thats it, we dont tend to get many cold callers

As an atheist, I do actually have a copy of the bible. Next time I get religious nutters round with their kids I am going to produce it and start reading passages to the kids, the good ones that they dont tell you at school! Lets see if they turn up again!
