Yep they bought them back but they were definitely not there when I posted.
Anyway just like most their 'rewards' the number of ipoints required has gone up in real terms. It should have gone to 6150 but is 8300 so instead of being 3/4 of the way there I am now only just over half way there. They really think we must be stupid. When I do get to 8300 I am going to claim the voucher then quit forever(if they don't make it even harder by manipulating the thresholds to our disadvantage again that is). I'll also only get free ipoints and will not sign up anything that could be lucrative for them.

Leisure vouchers were 210 for a £5 voucher or 420 for a £10 voucher, equating to 2100 and 4200 ipoints respectively. They are now 6020 ipoints for a £10 voucher. That's a HUGE hike. Do they think we are stupid or something??

Resign from ipoints and defect to Pigsback, that's what I say................

Hi, Don't normally look at the ipoints posts but with all the changes thought I would look on here to find out if I am the only one who isn't happy with the changes, I was saving my points for a £10 leisure voucher but now it will take me alot longer, I am sure it was 210points for a £10 voucher before not for £5 as quoted above.

I'm not happy with the changes either scottish_lassie.

I was saving for the 510 pointer £25 M&S voucher, and now a £30 M&S voucher is 8300 or something!!

Also I noted the little poll was worth 5 points. Not a multiple of 10 of 1 point.

Scottish Lassie - I think you may be right!

In which case that's OUTRAGEOUS!! Even WORSE than I said. It means in real terms that the cost of a £10 voucher has increased four fold............

If you went to Asda and paid 79p for a tube of toothpaste and went back the next day and they were charging £3.16 for the same tube of toothpaste you'd rightly go tell them to take a hike. I'm cashing out ASAP and then I'm leaving.
  • Yep, I will be leaving ipoints too, I will miss the leisure vouchers, they came with a discount booklet too which meant I could take the family to Brewsters as a treat without it costing too much, well at least we have Pigsback, their points are easier to collect and they are interested in the opinions of their members. I have been waiting since January for a query to be answered with ipoints whereas Pigsback have always replied to me within 24hrs.

The sign up bonus for new ipoints members is now 200 points - someone correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure the old signup bonus used to be 40 ipoints so looks like they have halved the number of points there as well.

I have mailed them over the leisure vouchers scam. They were my only reason for signing up. Funnily anough I am waiting on points from 2 different bingo sites for over 30 days. If these points had arrived before I would have ordered £30 in leisure vouchers before now. Now I can only order £10. I am fuming!! Funnily enough no reply from them yet

I am with pigsback too, their customer service is so much better. And once this is sorted, ipoints will not be seeing me again
hey there's no money but we couldn't be happier if we tried

I'm in shock! They have replied already. So they haven't found my missing points yet, but have said that the leisure voucher page was a text error. They are in fact 6050 points for a £30 voucher. I guess they just want you to save up longer as this is actually a slight drop in price

    Hope this helps everyone else
