Night Dawn - have a good nights sleep.

Just had a thought - when you get round to it check out the money saving old style board. If you are struggling to pay for food they have really great ideas on how to feed your family cheaply but with good food. And they are just as lovely as DFW board.

    Hi everyrone!

Thank you all so much last night for your support . I was so suprised how quick the responses were!

I felt so much better after talking to all of you, but when i woke up this morning i felt absolutley awful. You know one of thoes days where you just want to stay in bed. I think to a point talking about it last night bought it to the forefront. Where as I proactively try and deal with my proiblems because no one else knows, im not that vocal about them and i guess i try and detach myself. Felt like id been smashed in the face by a sledge hammer this morning :(

Oh well up and onwards. I will post my incommings and outgoings when I get home, and continue to pray for devine intervention

Hope you are all having a good day. You are such a kind lot and im sure with whith the kindness and help you have shown me and others many people who are terrified feel much much better.

I have an appointment with the cccs on friday at 4.30 telephone councilling which im hoping will help.

All i need to do is hold on to my home for 23 months and then my son goes to uni and i will happily give this place back and go bankrupt for the rest. I have really struggled to even eat his month even though my son doesnt know, i always make him dinner before me.

    Hi Dawn,

If you've got an appointment with CCCS on Friday that is an excellent place to start, we found them to be very helpful when we first realised just what serious financial trouble we were in.

If your income has reduced drastically you really do need to concentrate on paying yr mortgage, council tax and other utilities. The secured loans are going to be a problem but CCCS will give sound advice on how to deal with them. Any money you pay on those loans now will be throwing good money after bad.

If you can at all try saving some money in cash or your son's account because you may find it difficult in the near future to rely on credit or credit cards if you have an emergency.

You will get out of this mess at some point, and if you start to beleive this now, then it's going to make it so much easier when it comes to making difficult decisions. Keep smiling, keep believing, stay cool and you'll look back on yr current circumstances as part of the learning curve called life.

  • But more importantly did you dream of Homer?;):p

But seriously Dawn, I know it's scary and daunting but the worst bit for me was the unknown. How are you supposed to tackle something when you don't know what you are tackling? Day by day you piece the jigsaw together and the picture becomes clearer so you can see what it is. I'm not gonna lie to you, it does take time and it can be a right downer at times but with the support from everyone on this board there can be a lot of highs aswell. :D

I personally couldn't and wouldn't be able to do it without the support from this board. Just take one piece at a time and things will get better. :)
