BT options - beware.

I suspect that the OP is confusing the Plusnet Value data limit (20GB) with the speed....(up to 20MBps). Since they are using only 0.2Gb, it hardly matters what the Plusnet cap is.
OP, all you do in samknows is put in your phone no. and postcode-no street is necessary. Even in the most rural part of the Highlands, you still have a postcode.
Al you are trying to do is ID which exchange you are on, that will tell you if any LLU options.
Or just post the name of your exchange...
And Plusnet Value is £12.99 after 3 months, not £16+.
This is assuming that you are on a Market 1 exchange. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Sorry capacity. I did the phone & postcode & when it came up with the LUU or whatever you then look at their stuff & they ask for your address but that's by the by.
Plus net came out at cheap for three months & then the price increases.0 -
I lived no the Isle of Skye for a year and had Plus.net (still have it at the house, as it's my father-in-laws house). It seems that if BT are giving option 1 at £10, that is probably your best bet. However, when that deal runs out, it is probably worth checking out Plus.net again. Assuming you're not in Inverness, you'll have to pay £12.99 for the basic Plus.net service because of the distorted way that the government has told BT how to be competitive, essentially rural areas get screwed (but that's for another forum). However, £12.99 is cheaper than the £14.50 for BT option 1. Hope that helps.0

I am taking their £10 @ month deal for 12 months as it will suit but as you say & as I figured I'll shop around then.
I am peeved at BT misselling - and that is what they did to not just me years ago & I have emailed them to say so - not holding out much hope of them doing owt about that though.0
