BT options - beware.

I live in the Highlands of Scotland I don't think Plusnet serves this area.
My mind almost is melting trying to work out which is best - it is all so complicated.0 -
Plusnet are nationwide as are all ISPs that resell the basic BTw product which is all BT Retail (your current ISP) are doing.0
-
1. Plusnet are owned by BT Group.
2. Looked at their prices recently - asked them to come up with a price that suited my needs and usage. They did.
Plusnet could not offer a better deal than that which I then negotiated with BT. I stayed with BT. Simples.

B.T have offered me a deal of £10 @ month - so I think I'll take that. It is so difficult to compare like for like if you want the package - calls & BB.0

You still haven't told us what LLU options, if any, are available on your exchange.
Put your number in here.

Yes there seems to be a fair few.
Because BT has offered me bb & the free weekend & evening call thing for £10 @ month for 12months - I think that'll be best - can't really compare like for like as others don't do a package. - Goodness this is complex.
The pakage I'm getting is usually £15 @ month so I suppose I can't complain.
When you get bills that are 4 pages double sided it is difficult to work out what is going on - I mean, '£5.40 processing payment'.
I did once do a direct debit but BT mistakenly took out £80 overcharge out of my bank account & I had to fight to get my own money back. I know it would be cheaper to do a DD but I don't want them in my bank account again.0 -
Is it just me that finds it quite bizzare that you have done nothing but slag off BT, yet seem quite unwilling to do a few minutes research online to enable yourself to get rid of them?
It's perfectly straightforward to compare a bundle of line rental, calls and broadband from different providers, but no-one can assist you further if you don't provide the samknows LLU info, as suggested several times. No free lunch, and no free laptop

> Is it just me
Nope.
Is it just me that thinks you have the patience of a saint?
If I sense a lost cause I just give up and leave them to it.0 -
The Plus Net looked like a goer but when you looked into it it was half speed & okay for first three months then goes up to £16+ @ month.
Orange is dearer & has a really bad reputation from folks I know.
So as long as I'm on the £10 @ month do from BT then that'll do me but after 12 months I will shop around.
The look for your house in the box thing doesn't work here- just like put your street in - what streets?
But apart from that it comes across as loads will be cheaper but they are not when you look into it.
Inbetween I don't rate all the snipes in the background - can hear all the foot tapping & tongue clicking from here.0 -
Half speed? What speed do you get now? That gum you like is coming back in style.0
