Friday night: Pear & stilton salad, Parmigiana (with chicken escolope if he's really hungry) and a fruit tart
Saturday: eating out
Sunday: starter souflee then roast pork? (check freezer)w. creamed nutmeg spinach, broad beans and baked pumpkin then....hmm..maybe a shoofly pie.
Monday: (n.b must bake for monday meetings) lemon, green veg and thyme risotto and either left over pie or possibly a fruit souffle then cheese.
Stuck to it so far....today needs tweaking though as I have lef over pumkin it will be a pumpkin risotto, and have found myself needing to provide a light lunch...so a mushroom tart and a lemon soufflee for lunch, with the risotto and leftover shoofly pie and cheese and fruit for supper: dynamic meal planning!0 -

Liver, bacon, onion gravy, green beans, mash (may buy yams to cook/mash, never tried!)
Yams are delish sprinkled with paprika and salt, drizzled with olive oil and baked as wedges. In fact, I may have to change Monday's plan...0 -

Hi, Can I come out the closet and join too?
I've also joined the NSD Challenge and Grocery challenge this month as the shopping budget is the only place left to cut back.
Meal planning till now has been very vague and haphazard which I need to stop. I'm planning for 3 adults (including MiL who lives with us and our 5 year old son. hubby gets lunch provided at work.:D Our weeks tend to go Monday to Sunday so from the 13th:
Sun 13th: Pork Teriyaki and noodles (last of the frozen stir fry veg in the freezer and Lidl Pork offer chops - again from the freezer!)
Monday 14th: 2nd half of last Sunday's lasagne from Freezer, salad
Tuesday 15th: sausage, beans and mash (whoopsie sausages from Mr M :0 )
Wednesday 16th: Spicy tomato pasta and HM garlic bread (not spicy for DS)
Thursday 17th: Chilli con carne and rice
Friday 18th: Vegetable balti and Naan (sweet potatoes and cauli from the freezer)
Saturday 19th: HM Pizza
Sunday 20th: Pork chop in creamy mustard and apple sauce, veg and potatoes
Lunches: Rolls/ Ham/Cheese/salad
Soup: French Onion (Aldi super 6 onions!); sweet potato and chilli (Sweet Potatoes found lurking in the veg basket); potato and leek (MiL)
DS: Roll, stockpiled cheese sticks from As*a deal, choob, apple (Al*i's last super 6), dilute juice, cupcake (stockpile from offer)
Breakfasts, Toast, cereal, coffee, apple juice (Li*l weekend offer stockpiled)
As you'll see I'm really bad for stockpiling things. Sometimes it even works!0 -

Sunday 20th: Pork chop in creamy mustard and apple sauce, veg and potatoes
Hi burge23,
I don't suppose you'd share the recipe for this, would you? It sounds delicious and I'd like to try it.
Oh, and thanks Boodle for the curry recipe - shall be giving that a go.
Thanks in advance,
