Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
I'm a bit late with mine this week (by my standards, anyway ;)). I've got / had:

Friday - sausage and tomato pasta
    Saturday - takeaway - probably a Chinese, I think :)
Sunday - cheese and tomato pizza swirls and salad (I think you've started a trend, Iluvmymini :T)
Monday - pork and sausage cassoulet
Tuesday - refried bean and pepper burritos
    Wednesday - garlic prawn wraps
Thursday - Western burger, chips and salad

I'm planning on making a pear and blackberry pie tomorrow, as I've got a bit of a glut of pears and a bagful of last year's blackberries still sitting in the freezer. Lunches will be pizza swirls until I've eaten them all, then sandwiches. :)
Back after a very long break!

Hi all! We've been out of the menu-planning for a while, what with family drama, ill health and the small matter of a wedding. Anyway, here's this week's plan:

    Dinner:
Mon: Liver, sticky onions in red wine vinegar, mash, green beans
    Tues: Broccoli and cauliflower cheese
Weds: White bean and chorizo stew
Thurs: Broccoli, lemon and almond pasta
    Fri: Sardine bake
Sat: Roasted butternut squash with lime and yoghurt dressing, couscous
    Sun: Party at friend's house

    Lunch:
Mon: Asian salad (i.e. leftovers from fridge with soy, chilli, ginger and garlic)
Tues: pesto and cheese sarnie, banana
Weds: leftovers from night before, yoghurt
Thurs: houmous with carrot and celery sticks, apple, yoghurt
Fri: cheese and HM chutney sarnie, apple, carrot sticks
Sat: Probably snacking on baking stuff for tomorrow
    Sun: Partypartyparty

Please keep your fingers crossed that we'll be back in the money-saving zone in no time.

    Have a lovely week, everyone.

Need to go shopping later but here's the plan in no particular day order - anything in red is new stuff I want to try:-

Roast chicken/pots/onions/parsnips, brocolli, baby carrots, yorkies
Chicken chow mein (using leftover chicken), beansprouts, noodles, peppers, spring onions
Chicken Tikka (with M&S sauce), egg fried rice, prawn crackers
Liver, bacon, onion gravy, green beans, mash (may buy yams to cook/mash, never tried!)

Breakfast - bacon or gammon, scrambled egg, beans, roast or tin tomatoes, toast

And some easy meals in reserve if can't be bothered to cook "properly":-
M&S chicken parcels with Aunt Bessie croquettes and beans
Jacket potatoes with coleslaw or cheese
Battered fish, tartare sauce and home made wedges, mushy peas
Lidl chinese/indian ready made meals with jasmine rice
:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Less things. Less stuff. More life.
