Just been watching the Comic Relief documentary. Now that is real poverty. Made me feel totally ashamed

Off in the 'van tomorrow, just outside Pocklington, hope the winds dies down like it is forecast to. Looking forward to catching up with our 'vanning friends.
 Congrats to good kids results.

DS & GF have found a flat, they will be OK, but not much to spare, will be a big eye opener for them.
Made a load of mince ready or a Cottage Pie for 4 tomorow, and a double batch of tea-cakes for my DH.

            Evening all,
Congratulations where appropriate and hugs for everybody else.
Very cold here all day, don't really expect much improvement before April.
Our new government took office to-day....hopefully they can help get us out of the black hole we are in....first thing they did was take €14000pa off TD's (MP) salaries, so that's a good start hopefully.
Dinner to-night was last of reduced sirloin steak I had in freezer....must be on lookout for another offer, as OH seems to have become very fussy, won't eat dinner made of mince unless its burgers or spag bol....can't have those twice a week, he won't touch anything vegetarian either....talk about grumpy old men!
DGS 1&2 were here this afternoon, nice to see them both as they are so interesting now, DGS1 is on a sleepover as DD4 has to go to a seminar to-morrow and it is in the opposite direction from his school so I invited him to stay, which he is always happy to do. Will take him to school in the morning which will get me up early....have umpteen things to do so that will be a good start.
Night all, stay warm and sleep well
