  • Julie G you look great! WOW:j
Well I got my washing out this morning and put another enormous load in the wm, fetched the first load in when I noticed it raining, put it out again, and then had to put the heating on cos it rained again and had two loads to dry. I do wish the weather would make up its mind and stick to it.
After a slow start I've had a really good day - bathroom and kitchen have both had a really good clean (including the bathroom cupboard and under the sink in the kitchen), living room has had a quick tidy and I've made a few breadrolls and some nutella bread swirls. With luck the kids will eat most of it before I do.

Evening-just having a quick catch up before Corrie starts.I've had a busy couple of days out-yesterday Trafford centre, and local town today. My niece gave me a lift to the TC as she works there and I got the bus back(well 2),but it took less time than I thought so I quite enjoyed myself.I got some material from John Lewis, and a baby pressie, but thats all-the rest was just window shopping :)

Today I wanted some wadding for a baby quilt, went to Hobbycra/t and saw the same fabric for £3 m more!!Then I met my friend for a sandwich as its her birthday at the weekend and I wanted to give her her pressie.

So all in all, little OS apart from pulling batch meals from the freezer-its still nowhere near empty yet tho.

Well done on the weight lossJulieG :T
Flutterby hope you feel better soon.

    Uolypool-well done to DS

Adelight-hope you did well in your exam

Awww bless you esmf that's really made me smile. I have to say my positive attitude is totally down to Memory Girl's Make Do and Mend and Matrix threads. Those threads are mega inspiring (have just been having a read of some of the older threads as it happens) so I make a conscious effort to not be negative all the time. Even negative self talk - you know how people ask you how your are? What do we reply......not bad, plodding on, OK etc......how negative is that?!! So I try and consciously respond.....I'm good, or things are great etc. Just be a bit more upbeat. Obviously there are times when things get to me (like yesterday - felt quite negative for most of the day BUT ended up with a friend in tears about some health worries so kinda put it all into perspective really).

Anyway enough of my rambling :o
