Just tell him you opened the envelope and read the letter without thinking, apologise and take it from there. Opening post is something that sometimes happens on automatic pilot, so it's very easily done..................

It's a man thing .. not just embarrassment but a range of emotions. I know 'cos it happened to me when I was taking a few medications, although I did tell her I'd had some prescribed. I don't take the meds now and I don't need the tablets anymore but if he does .. so what, he still luvs ya and yes sometimes a third of a tablet is all that's needed ... that's very MSE :j
And as Sambucus Nigra says .. It's a non-issue. Used by millions world wide!0
