Well done hun.Parents need to keep pressurising the schools and LEAs for the adequate provision for kids with special needs, otherwise inclusion can never work :( "You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf" :( "You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Yay, no more work for me until next week, and the big boss is away so i can relax a little.
Going to begin a major spring clean tomorrow - need to declutter.
Good for you, Noah'spennilessMum. Just a shame that you have to fight for the things that ought to be given to your son by right - ps Clegg's my MP too.0

Good for you NMP it makes me soo mad. I remember my SIL virtually having to beg before they would statement my nephew and thats a while ago, he is 21 now.
Pollys your house sounds like mine, lots of boys watching football. Its funny I've swapped a house full of brothers for a house full of sons, I am relgated to the back room to watch Masterchef but it is a bit chilly because of the french windows, never mind I've got my snuggly:D
Not long in as first I had zumba which was brill although very tiring, it's kind of a combination of aerobics and salsa dancing. I was the fat lass at the back:rotfl:
Next was parents evening. Same old story a lovely lad, a clever lad but just does enough to get by. I can't seem to get through to him how well he could do if he just worked a bit harder.
Funny day food wise, the lads had Pizza and DH and I went out for lunch so didn't want any tea earlier. Prob have a snack at supper time. Ordered an online shop from Mr T to save me some time at wkend.
Busy wkend with a couple of meals out and DD BF and DGS for dinner on Sunday.
well off to watch masterchef. Enjoy your evening J xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Evening all, sorry not posted for so long, just been so busy at work and not had time to log on...terrible when work interferes with surfing....lol. Actually to be honest, glad to be so busy, we have had 2 years of no business, lay offs etc its good to still have my job and business seems to be getting better so looking good.
Not had time to read the thread today so will catch up later, but hugs to everyone who needs one, hope all are OK. Even though I have not been on MSE I have been trying to be as OS as possible....I am menu planning almost every week, which actually has been a godsend, don't know why I never did it before, working full time, BUT knowing what's on the plan for food for the troops, and its great.
Washing and ironing are up to date....can't believe I just said that, but yes, I am actually up to date, one more wash in this evening and its it -sorted...until the weekend, but I feel like wonderwoman....lol.
House is still a tip, but I am working on it, keep meaning to go flying, but for me its all baby steps - and batch cooking, menu planning and some OS in other areas is a huge achievement for me, so I am happily getting places. Saying that, the house is a tip at the moment, but yes, I have started decluttering, slowly and I know I will get there, so happy house, happy family, happy me.
Tonight we had a savoury pie, made with leftover pastry, with passata, red onions, red peppers, leftover goats cheese, bought for Christmas and salad, and everyone raved about it, before I would have binned the cheese and bought something convenient to cook for dinner. You lot have been great for giving me the nudge in the right direction.
Sorry to ramble on, going to read and catch up now, if you are on FB, pm me and I will add you to my friends list, hope you are all well, if not, you are all in my thoughts...feel free to have a hug from me - right, off to have a read and a surf - Cait xxxxCait, at long last signing on:rotfl:0

evening!Taplady, how was ludlow? Not been there for a few years now.
Might go and have a look around in the summer, see how its change.
Halight - its still very pretty. There's been a few changes but not in the middle of the town as most of it is 'listed'. The food festival is always popular. There is also a 'food centre' a couple of miles out of town with all local produce etc which is nice to have a walk around.
Your girls might like the Discovery Centre at Craven Arms if you are in the area.
NPM - well done on the radio!:T
flutterby - hope you're feeling better soon x
JackieG - hope DS is ok x
 jackieO - your friend is a star!:T
just had a late dinner - SW night tonight. Going to watch the programme on BBC2 about premature babies.

Extended families can be a bit awkward at times ,but it is Katies day so I will smile even with slightly gritted
I know what you mean Jackie, its my DS wedding this year and I will be exposed to my ex and all his family  not looking forward to it but he has invited my OH and my DSD and has also asked for help with altering bridesmaids dresses. I am just unsure what is happening about the top table, I would wish they would have a sweetheart table where it is only bride and groom. If they are doing a top table....am I going to be on it? or if I am and its me and the ex, will keep a smile on my face
flutterby hope you are feeling better, I had anti sickness for vertigo and it made me very very sleepy, I still walked like I had had more than a few though!
I have been absent for a few days due to trying to shake off this cold, have been to work, come home, had my tea and been in bed by 8....it hasn't worked, so I am up later tonight :rotfl: fed up with blowing my nose, nose is twice the size it should be, nice and red with flakey skin...don't you just love it?
Bitsy the virus-rash-thingy sounds horrible - could it be something you have been near in a wood or park type of place? I know some weeds/wild stuff can give you a nasty rash. My DS got a nasty rash and itchy along with most of the other kids in the school due to some caterpillars that were crawling over the bushes just outside of the school. Obviously it affected my son more than most...he was just one of those kids! lol
NPM - power to the people! not just a reference to a cheesy 70's show, you go girl, tell them how it is xx I am lucky, my son was only dyslexic, but it was hard going proving this, I did at one point, after being told that the teacher who could do the assesment was off sick and nothing could be done till he returned told the head I would be contacting the regional paper to tell them about it, the head then offered to take me out for a meal!!!!!! did he think he could get me drunk and I would forget, i refused and was contacted later in the week for a full assessment for my son, and he got his extra help! this was 19 years ago, seems things change real slow!
hope you have all had a good night, cyas soon xxwhoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

            Evening all!
Got up to a snowy day, motorway was awful on the way to work at 6am, couldnt see the outside lane for white stuff, plus roadworks much of the way. Came home and booked to go to Turkey in October for a week for a friends wedding, an unexpected but happy extra holiday, so will be pulling in the spending reins for a while, had already booked a summer holiday before we heard about this!
Its getting very windy tonight, and flipping cold, OH in bed already with hot water bottle!RIP Iain
