    Afternoon All

As you could see from my FB wall I have been buying work! I got a new ironing board from Aldi (£30), one with a plug built into the board to give you better reach on the iron, and higher, as I had found ironing here was killing my back, but not as much problems in Spain as that board went higher, the new one does too.

Tea this evening will be Jacket Potatoes, with Tuna, Cheese, and Beans, followed by stewed Plums.
Lunch was LO Bread and Butter Pudding.

Flutterby hope you get sorted soon, DH had tablets for dizziness (Betahistine) but he had no side affects nor tiredness.

Had call back (that was quick!). They don't think it's linked to my tablets/vertigo.

Advised to take anti-imflamatries and use cold compress. I can call on-call doctor to go see them, but problem is I don't really think I should drive there (although I don't feel drowsy now).

I've take ibrufen, and will wait an hour and see how it goes, then call them if I need to.

WOW that was quick. We've normally waited hours to speak to someone!
Anyone who could give you a lift in required? Would offer myself but it's a wee bit far..........;)

I know, they said up to 3 hours for call back!

I could see if my neighbour is in to give me a lift but TBH I just wanted reassurance that it wasn't linked to the medication. I'll see how I feel in hour or so and then make a decision.

I should be ok to drive myself if needs be, I feel ok to drive.

    I'll update you all later

Hope you're ok flutterby, let us know how things go.

    Evening All

Well, went to see Mama Mia last night and the last 5 mins was ok, the rest I found a bit boring and the music a bit weak but it was good to get out for the evening and the show ticket was free, just paid for the meal beforehand.
Got up to snow this morning which was a bit of a shock but it didn't last. The washing has been dried on the racks, have had a quick hoover through and made DD and I a tasty chicken stir fry for tea.

Off to read the thread properly and then have an early night. Take care. XX

Well it looks like DD now has this virus-rash-thingy :( Her little arms were everso red and really hot. Hopefully Piriton will take the edge off and help her sleep easy. I fear she might end up scratching as she's not as restrained as DS.

    Evening All

Sounds like the weather has changed for a lot of us Here in West Yorkshire we have had, torrential rain, high winds, sunny intervals and hail! It is going cold now, heating is on. We have had a very easy tea, no meat today as it is Ash Wednesday, recieved the ashes at school. Feeling tired today, this is a really busy week work-wise, arrive at school at 8am and wont get home till 7ish tomorrow for the second time this week. Nevermind I love the job.

Have a lovely evening everyone, football just about to start - the joys of living in a house of sports-mad boys and a tomboy DD.

Evening all - couldn't post this morning as it was snowing - and my fingers were in shock. Has been snowing on and off all day, but aside from the wind I hope its past now. Today have hit Ikea, (got some great toy storage - even better as it was priced at £39.99 and I got it for under £18!!!), been to the gym for some torture and then a bit of chilling out! Taken the boys swimming and managed to get half an hour to my self and my ipod whilst reading a book. Came home to find that the chips I'd made earlier were ready and I then made mini beef burgers out of the meatballs. Kids loved them. Tomorrow I have the house in my sights - we look like we live in a bomb site!

Love to everyone - specially any parents of Special Needs children - but of course they're not special needs really are they? If you've been listening to the radio. GRRRRRRRRRR when I think of how long we've been fighting to get a statement for DS1 - no one is going to take it away from me before I get it in writing!!! Can you see the steam coming out of my ears
