Fantastic, looks like I was right and you where building it up to be a bigger issue than it would be.

It sounds very much like what I would do in that situation, overall it sounds like you have got the right man and a great one at that.

Glad you can now stop worrying and get on with the rest of your happy lives together.

good for you and well done.

but cannot advise strongly enough you take this time to cut up any credit cards or store cards you have, and still do all the debt free wannabe stuff - ie comparison shopping, batch cooking and stick that money away into savings or against the mortgage.

it sounded like you had been getting you your debt under control anyway but accelerate now rather than taking your foot off

  • Thank you all so much once again. I do feel much better and lucky to have such a fantastic husband.

The cards are gone and I rarely spend much nowadays so will definitely continue with that.

I definitely built it up to be something so much more and in the end all he feels OS relief that it isn't anything else.

I wouldn't have been able to do it without your words of wisdom!!!

I will definitely stay on the forum to see if I can offer any advice to others and learn new things along the way.

    Xx

Well done you. I am sure that you are relieved and perhaps today will be a time for celebration. Make sure that when debts are paid off the accounts closed and confirmation received. I really am delighted for you. Enjoy your pregnancy now!! Billie x

Stick around, this moneysaving lark can be quite addictive.

Have a look on the other boards for ways to reduce your budget, that would make the debt disappear faster.
