:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
What can I say?
I assume the models plaster casted themselves? And shaved first.....imagine the hairs pulling out and being stuck to the cast. :rotfl:
Nah, the fella did it, I saw a documentary! A link to the documentary is on the bottom of the page I linked to actually...
I am thinking of doing a similar gallery based on the photos of winkies that men seem so keen to text to women nowadays...:D
I was discussing this with some female friends, and it seems to be a very common phenomenon nowadays... it has surprised me, last time I was single it was all carrier pigeon, never mind mms messages! :cool:0 -

Anyway, that's me done for being Dr Ruth for today, but seriously, learn to like your bits and pieces - after all, most men love theirs dearly, even when they look like the last chicken in sainsbury's!
:T
That made me lol!! :rotfl::rotfl: Particularly that most men are just delighted to be in bed with a naked woman anyway......and the chicken bit!! :rotfl: :rotfl:"Things can only get better.................c/o D:Ream #The 90's"

was talking about smears to my sister the other day -
she actually said ooooh no i put them off, i'm not like you i don't like the thought of doctors seeing me naked.... coming from the woman who sits on her fellas face i mean come on... (this came about because i have a coil which stops my periods and my terrible PMT so have to be seen every 5 years, and i have now had my smears synced to this cycle...)
yes because we all love to sit there legs akimbo......
my last April smear showed abnormalities, went for a colp, local hospital booked me to be lasered, and when i insisted on a woman they had to send me to another hospital, who then insisted she start from the beginning as the results they had reported were contradictory and i am so young they seemed strange.... thankfully they came back normal. it was because i had a hormonal coil - which the first doctor knew about as she was in the process of replacing it.... i'm just glad that my local hospital were so rude when i asked for a woman doctor as i would have caved for the fear if they hadn't have been. and frankly the lady doctor in Sheffield was lovely.

I forgot to answer the op's original question - no I'm not bothered who does it. I have found however, that a gynecologist made a lot lighter work of it than a GPI beg to differ. My last (only) one hurt like hell. Sorry if that's an unpopular thing to say but I don't know why we women insist on lying to each other. ...
I'm sorry you find them painful, I don't and that's no lie, but it is a very weird feelingforeign_correspondent wrote: »....
I don't know if you have seen this, but a guy in brighton has made an artwork of plaster casts of loads of women's vulvas... ('the great wall of vagina!':D) they are all different...
That really has confirmed that all private parts are ugly0 -

Hahaha!! Thank you! That actually helped! Hmmm maybe ignorance of never having looked at another woman closely enoughI think you are right in that we are bombarded with a false ideal of a woman. I've suffered with my weight and other things in the past and truely believe media plays a huge part!
Just getting it off my chest (which ironically I don't have trouble showing to doctors, at least 10 times in 6 months :O) helped and all your lovely replies is a huge comfort! So thank you!Just keep swimming0 -

.. is that why you are now banned from the local GPs clinic?

Haha!!! Me and my friend have a running joke along those lines!!! Whenever I go to the gp now she says "you keep your clothes on today?!" Or "you do realise the docs not meant to make you take your top off for a bad ankle"!! Hahahaha!Just keep swimming0 -
I had a letter for my next one the other day, it arrived on my birthday!! Grrrrr!
I had an abnormal result the other year and had to have loop diathermy treatment so I am once a year at present.
After 7 rounds of IVF I couldn't give a hoot who does it, i'm used to being poked and prodded left right and centre and it has never ever hurt.
If you are hesitating, don't. For most people it is embarrassing and a little uncomfortable for a very short time, for the sake of your health and possibly your life make an appointment to have it done.
A no brainer IMHO.2 angels in heaven :A0 -
Thought i'd resurrect this thread, turning 25 in a few weeks and finally have the invitation to have a smear test. It says to ring my doctors and book one but quick question, do i have to wait till after i have turned 25 or can i get it done now? Not looking forward to it but it has to be doneThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

MessedUp.............presume it's like breast screening, to which you are invited during the year you turn 50, but you may still only be 49; just go ahead and phone for your appointment. Nobody particularly looks forward to it, but it's usually over before you know it and then you can feel pleased with yourself for being so responsible!
Good to get in the routine dealing with it promptly each time.0
