I'm 20 and have only been on 2 holidays without my mum/with the boyfriend.
June 2008 - 3 days in Budapest, Hungary
January 2010 - 3 days in Stockholm, Sweden.

I'd like to go away this year but I don't know if the funds will allow.
We need to buy the lease for the house, as well as try to make mortgage over payments and redecorate (including new bathroom, kitchen, plastering etc!)

    Debt-free and Proud!
We normally just have one 'proper' holiday a year. This is because Im married to an englishman and my daughter is at Uni in London we do a lot of weekends/long weekends down South at various friends events, family stuff etc Without all those hotels, restaurants and travel Im sure we could definitely do another 2 hols abroad!

Have been lucky enough to have two holidays abroad a year for the past three years or so. We also have a touring caravan and try to get away for the odd weekend here and there too. Still tied to school holidays but only another couple of years and we can hopefully make the most of the cheap prices then and have a few more!

Ah don't be jealous of me!

I'm single, no kids so spend all my money on travels :) I did Camp America a few years back and now have friends all over UK and World so I go visit them lots. Also one of my best friends lives in Canada so I only need to pay for flights there too, not accomodation.

I do live off beans on toast quite a lot though! :rotfl:

The last couple of years I've had 3 holidays:
1 x 5 day break with husband in Malta
1 x 10 nights in Barbados with husband and youngest daughter
1 7 nights nights in Egypt with mum & sister.

This year, hubby & I have just had 3 nights in NY and we're off to Cancun for 11 nights with youngest daughter.

I've gone to parts of the Red Sea for the last 4 years with my mum (2 trips with my sister as well) but as I'm being made redundant in July, I may have to forego that trip this year :D

I Love my holidays and am always planning ahead for the next two!! Best year for holidays was 2009 when went on 5 in one year!!

    2009
Xmas08/Jan09 - Texas (Mil stays there)
Feb - Krakow, Poland (college trip)
    June - Florida (wedding/honeymoon)
    August- Texas
Xmas 09/Jan 10 Australia for 1 month (FIL lives there :D)

    2010
July - DLP & La Croix Du Vieux Pont

    2011
    May - Barbados
    July - Belfast
September - Holland (Duinrell) & La Croix Du Vieux Pont (Paris) & DLP

I really cant fit anymore 'proper' holidays into this year so we have invested in camping gear and over the summer when uni finishes we plan on camping in Scotland and around Lake District etc. We have a 3 yr old daughter so just getting away from the house and getting outdoors is a break away from it all for us. I honestly cant wait!

SnowBelle thats a brilliant deal, who did you book with?
    Can I say Thomson?
If it's not ok mods please remove;)
Also paid extra for sea view room and had to shell out for credit card charge:mad:As I was waiting to get paid and did'nt want to miss it.
So it would have been about £40 cheaper without those extras...so still a bargain
