I guess it depends on finances each year :) Hope for 2 - 3 holidays each year.

2009 - 1 week at butlins (April), 10 nights in Majorca (July), 1 week in Portugal (August).

2010 - 5 days in Clacton on Sea (April), 1 week in Crete (July), 2 weeks in Cuba (September).

2011 - Weekend in London, 1 week in Majorca (April), 1 week in Fueteventura (July) and hopefully a sunny Christmas for boyfriends 21st! :D

I go on 3 holidays per year. Last year I spent 2 weeks on a Carribean cruise, 2 weeks Egypt diving and 1 week on the Italian Lakes.
But I realise I'm lucky to do that which is mostly down to not having any nippers.

Normally just one, but last year I managed two. Not really allowed much time off work.

Usually 1 long haul and 2 short (ie last year 2 weeks in Croatia and Slovenia, an easyjet weekend in France and 4 weeks in Laos, Vietnam and Combodia) This year we are staying closer to home and going to travel round Morocco for 10 days, go to a festival in Europe and another city break. we are also hoping to have more weekend away with the tent in the UK, weather permitting!
Saving pennies because next year we are planning the ultimate holiday...a year off in South America, Oz, NZ, Nepal and India!!!!!
we have love enough to light the streets.
  • we do europe twice a year for around 11 nights but this year we are going once for 2 weeks then going to save for florida next year :D

We go for about half the yearin total on trips long haul. This is our sons first year in school, so we will be breaking it up around school holidays. We just got back friday from a month in Cambodia that we worked around the half term.

Time away together and our trips are very important to us as a family, we are fortunate enough to be able to have them and we make the most them.

Well .. I'm also a student, and last year I went to Paris(France), Berlin(Germany), Warsaw(Poland), and Da Nang (Vietnam). The total cost was around 2000usd. This year, my schedule is quite strict, so I only plan to go to Singapore on August :) .. So for this year, I think I will travel twice :D
