Glad you found one and half the price I paid  ...I might need to take you up on the set up help as I haven't got around to setting mine up yet...hopefully will try it soon.

I got one for £9.91 yesterday at Yarmouth.

There was no shelf price and a chap I know in store sid he though it was £9.91. I guarded it with my life walking around the store and also got a Binatone DECT cordless phone which was marked down from £14 to £8.00

Was chatting at till and didn't clock the prices. Having checked in the car, I got charged £44 or so for both so went back in and said that the assistant thought the print server was £9.91 and not £29.91 and that the phone had been charged at £14 not £8.

Manager was keen to get the stock off the shelves and let me have it at the lower prices - result!.

Magellan Roadmate 300 SatNav now down to £59.91, plus you get a £20 voucher with ALL SatNavs at the moment, effectively making these £39.91 :D

None left in Carlisle store now!

Saw a (I think...) LaCie 500GB external hard drive, now reduced to £99.91

Philips DVDRW drive that burns labels onto top of (special) DVDs now down to £29.91

EVEN CHEAPER IF YOU USE YOUR £20 VOUCHER AFTER BUYING A SATNAV...

There was a Broadband Modem with two extra phone sockets in Sheffield, can't remember the price but it was in the clearance section. Are these good for Internet Phones? Box inferred so but didn't have the time to read it all.

  • susieb,

you probably need a router and modem all in one unless you already have a proper stand-alone modem. can't really help on specific ones but i have a netgear and haven't had any problems with it.

failing that you can always google!

  • Picked up one of these last night for £9.91 although the SEL was still showing £14.91.
Also got a Netgear WG-511T PCMCIA wireless card for £9.91.

There was also a Belkin 650VA UPS on the shelf but didn't bother with this one as I run two laptops.

    This was Plymouth branch.

Who's your broadband supplier? If its NTL or Telewest you'll need a wireless router without modem, if its ADSL then you need one with a modem. There were lots around a few weeks back.

£6.91 in Wigan and Warrington stores.

Wigan store has LOADS of clearance stock including some 'sought after' items. Can't believe they've got so much - can't be many MSEers in Pie-land

Worth a visit if you're in Wigan.

Netgear TA612V now seems to be down to £6.91.
Belkin Wireless USB Print Servers £19.91
    Linksys Vonage adapter/router £6.91

If anyone knows any branches with Magellan Roadmate 300 units in, please PM me :D
