    Carlisle branch today:

    Came out with:

    Belkin 650VA UPS for £12.91
    Belkin 350VA UPS for £6.91

A couple of Belkin 500VA UPS at £9.91

This and various other stuff on a table just inside the door.

Tried to get the 500va at my local last night, but still scanned at £19.91  .

Were the ones you go stickered or did they scan at the price you paid?
My lot think that their price is right, doh. I wonder if the computer is updated locally as there was a managers price update sheet lying around with discounts of up to 50% on it for discontinued software and cameras, but not the UPS.

There's a Staples at Staples corner???

I guess they had to open one there really :D
ISTR they took over another company? They were based there.
  • Went into my local staples but the sipgate netgear box is still at 19.91 on the shelf, is it a case of having to get the clearance stuff price checked ?

    Yes.

Try telling them it was available at their own Carlisle store (OK, there aren't any left there!) and ask them to apply their Price Match Promise - it says they will match prices offered elsewhere (and elsewhere could surely be another branch...) and give you 10% of the difference :D

Stickered at the prices I paid - scanned at higher prices (£39.91 and £19.91 IIRC) and manually reduced.
