Thanks to withabix for the info, don't suppose you know the sku codes for the external Hard drives? Also how do you get £10 off?

Check the other threads for the SKUs.

just a suggestion... seems that if possible, you're better off visiting the stores to check on what they have from these sell-offs, rather than calling - which just alerts the staff to bargains they'd probably rather keep to themselves. for example, though I found a branch that had a 300GB Seagate in stock, and another branch with another such bargain, they both just happened to be faulty that were only still showing as in stock because they were waiting to be returned to the supplier. of course that -could- be true... but chances are had I looked for myself in the store, they'd have just bene on the shelves as yet undiscovered!
  • I agree with sf, pop into your local store and have a browse, get what you want and then post whatever is left here, we have 2 in leicester and i only went to one so i think i will pop into the other tonight on my way home from work

Picked up a HP Pavilion 1009 desktop for £80 (with £10 off voucher),when I went for the 300gig Seagate which had just been sold to another MSE'r, grr.

Xp Home, Works 8, 16x DVD writer and dvd rom, 80 gig hd admittedly only a 2.8G Celleron and 2 years old but ok for me.

There was also a blank space on the shelves with a ticket that made me look twice, a 19" Relisys LCD monitor for £49.91 from £189.99, someone got a bargain

I was just about to say exactly the same - you beat me to it :p
  • Just popped down to my local Staples, and they didn't have a clearance section, so i looked all over and couldn't see 1 thing reduced or priced with £X.91.

Im looking for a external Hard drive, in Wycombe.
