Hi everyone
I hope there's room for a lurker! Been up since 7.30am (why oh why on a Sunday) and have some bread proving in the airing cupboard and thinking about making some biscuits to take to work tomorrow. Not sure why but its a Monday so no doubt everyone could do with cheering up.
Having roast pork shoulder for lunch (cheap in the shop last night) so have invited BF's son over for food. Also need to go to the dump, walk the dog and get down the allotment. Umm had better remove bum from sofa and get going..........Trying to save money and always open to ideas and expecting our first child in March 2015.0 -

The dogs love tripe and have been eating dried sticks of it, so the hall smells of it
T xx
My dog loves them as well but the smell literally want to make me vomit! Sometimes he takes them in the garden and hides them. 4 weeks later when he remembers where he buried it and brings in a wet mud soaked tripe stick i have actually been known to be sick. Errgghhh. Love him though so i keep giving him themTrying to save money and always open to ideas and expecting our first child in March 2015.0 -
BB, in the gardening book he's been reading it says using the microwave to warm up compost is grounds for divorce, but hubby assures me that since we aren't married it doesn't apply to us, lol.

Morning all,
Lovely bright day here, with a good wind so have got my bedding on the line, will put dd's in next, she is still in bed, we went to my sisters last night and had a bit of a late one, so will leave her for a while.
I quite fancy a mooch around the afternoon boot sale later on, OH is at the morning one now, but wont mind at all going to another
I really would like the grass doing later on, did not get chance yesterday, and will take the dog out for a good run.
Got a bit of brisket for dinner, would normally do it in the sc, but this has broken, so will do it in the oven.
NPM hugs to you xx
Have good days all xx0 -

I know as parents this is the same but at least I generally get 10 hour stint child free whereas you don't. So don't feel bad that youre struggling to do 2 full days a week. I'd struggle to cope doing anything on 4 hours sleep a night.

Morning all from a serial lurker & occasional poster!
Bitsy - thanks for posting the FB link, I've joined. Nice to put faces to names!
Lovely & sunny here, but rather cold. Got tons of ironing to wade through, bathroom to clean& tea to christen. Also desperately need to start a stitching project that's long overdue (birth sampler for someone in the family).
Hope all of you have a nice Sunday - hugs & kisses to those in need!

Hello everybody,
Can I join you? I've been a lurker for a long time (since I discovered MSE and OS after the DWP announced it was cutting my mortgage benefit last year). You won't know it but everyone who posts on the OS forums really kept me sane. And I have learned such a lot from you all.
Today - when I get myself out of bed (have been up once to turn the yoghurt maker off, feed the cat and make a cuppa) I have to make some bread and some Twinks and roast a chicken. I aim to make enough mash and veg so it can be reheated as bubble and squeak for me and the kids when I get in from work tomorrow. I probably could do with putting the WM on but that will have to wait until DS gets out of bed cos its his sheets that need washing.
Hugs to all off you

Morning All!
Welcome to the newbies
Hugs to Bitsy and NPM, hope you both have nice restful days today. NPM that's a real shame about the Omega oils, DS1 takes the Eye-Q at the recommended dosage, and there was a marked improvement for him, although I know his ASD was not as complicated as Noah's to begin with. xxx
Redruby hope DD's trial went well yesterday. Now I have typed this, I am wondering if I am mixed up, and its actually next week?
Celyn, I use the orozo (the rice shaped pasta) in a salad with roasted veg, in a dressing, its fabulous like that. Its also good for the pasta bit in minestrone, but a bit expensive to use that way.
Marie, hope your energy and get up and go comes back, soon! xxx
Well, the carboot sale was good fun yesterday, although I only took £45. I had hardly anything with me though, so can't complain, and at least some of the crap is gone from the house. I forgot my jacket though and it was freezing. I had a scratchy throat, and have wakened this morning with a cold and am feeling sorry for myself.
Plan for the day is some more clearing out, I am finding little and often works for me best just now. I need to make bread and menuplan for the week, I think I will continue the low carb this week. Stir fry for lunch today, and maybe make some flapjack but I'm not sure because I am not sure if I am able to resist as yet.
Hope everyone else is well, and safe.
Hugs spoons and hi fives all round
