Hmmmm I love this idea ... could maybe shred some aswell? or would that be too much? just want it to look nice, it already weighs quite a bit and still have to do something similar for my dad, I gave up with the british hampers!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Can't see any online - but I think I paid about £2 each
Thanks shimmigirl, I'll have to pop into Wilkinsons and have a look. Has anyone got any other suggestions as to what I can package homemade goodies into?
Perhaps I'm looking too early - or too late (being that the shops started stocking xmas stuff in August) - either that or all the people from the NE on this thread have bought them all (I'm in Stockton)0 -

The box needs to be sent through the post as it is for my step mum and her and my dad live out in Bulgaria so weight and size was a big issue ...
Here is a pic, can anyone give me any other suggestions to not look like it is just shoved in a box(please bear in mind I have to wrap the box still lol)
Edit: I should add there is 5 x soap and glory items, and 3 x lush items.
Now this is a hamper id love to recieve! Shredded paper is definately the way forward to glam it up a bitDebt free wannabe

Hi
Keep an eye on Play.com as they sometimes do 007 T shirts at reduced prices - usually in time for Christmas too. I can't remember what I paid but I'll check for you. (And don't forget Quidco)

Can I ask what age group the Hello Kitty range is aimed at please as I think my great niece would love something like that.

Friends daughter is 5 and she loves things like that. I'm a teacher and at work girls from about 4/5 upwards seem to love most things with cutesy animals on! Hello Kitty is popular with older children and teenagers too and Asda sell pjs and clothes from kids to adult sizes with it on. BHS have got loads of stuff in too this year for christmas. Hope that helps0 -
OMG! I was only on here at 4pm and have just had to read through 4 more pages!! No wonder I never get any work done!
BIG thanks to BunBun and Rusty for the Boots info. If I am feeling brave I will look at the Boots thread, but will pop in to local store on Friday on way home from work to see what I can pick up - and what a shame, it will have to be for me as I have finished Christmas shopping!!
Passion8 - my daughter is 24 and she still loves Hello Kitty!0 -

The problem with this thread is that it's addictive! I want to go out and buy loads of stuff for hampers which is the exact opposite of why I'm doing this. Save Spuggy not spend!!
I'm off work with food poisoning but I'm actually considering dragging my poorly belly into work so I can go and look at the charity shops on my lunch! Battle through the pain!House saving Targets:
