Thankyou, I will have a look after toddler group tomorrow. Hopefully my small one will sell it.

I have been digging in wardrobes/cupboards and hidey holes and I now have a list of everything I have and things I still need to get. I need to find the childrens stockings and also OH's so I can pack these and give me a rough idea of how much I still need to buy for these if at all.

I am very pleased with myself as I don't usually start til the beginning of december and I only have 2 things to get for my daughter + a few stocking fillers, SF's for my son and partner, I have to book his course for the biking and a couple of little things so max £125, then I have to find £60 in £10 notes for pots of gold, 6 x scratch cards, 6 x lottery tickets, 1 x box of thorntons chockys and toffees, 2 x biiiig bottles of baby powder. Something for FIL and something for my MIL's dad and step mum but these just need to be token presents as I barely know them and last year then spent a fortune on me and the children and I felt awful as I hadn't even remembered them.

Soooo a big thankyou to everyone on this forum! The stress levels are low and I am feeling chuffed with myself as I have quite a few people to buy for and so far I am well under budget for everyone so have already saved a small fortune!

Lush I have amazed myself! The problem with me is I have very little money, infact I only get paid just under £25 for my job I only work 4 hours a week so Any extra money I get has been off any sales on my nappy cakes which were doing quite well uptil a couple of weeks back where things have slowed right down. So this year I started early and with the help on here saved loads and got some stunning items :)

I want to put things on ebay see if I can bring in a little extra money (although I don't have a lot to sell but I want to try and finish off the childrens stockings/daughters last 2 pressies before the end of next week then I can start wrapping!

I am really excited about it all for once, and this year I plan to be relaxing on christmas even instead of nagging OH to get me some tape to wrap the pressies up lol I want everything completely done by the end of november ;)

Hey Rusty, what about not using £10 notes in your pots of gold? Does it need to be that much or could you sub something else in there or use £5 notes? Seems to be a lot of money but obviously I have no idea who it is for :)

I went and got bits for my friend's birthday yesterday, I had a hamper and it now has in it

Hi Sian, I thought about that, I have a budget of £15 for my sis and BIL and then OH's sisters and brother so I was doing them a sweet hamper and planned to put the £10 in there but also do them a pot of gold with just one scratch card and lottery ticket ... However I could substitute it for £5 but my sister would probably be ungrateful as always ... will speak to OH and see what he says. Last year all of his sisters and brother got money in a card but I wanted to do them something with a bit of excitement rather than money in a boring old card!
