You lot have been busy again!!

I checked my finances this morning and I have spent some of the shopping money on christmas pressies, hey ho!
Just remembered I have all the bits for my pots of gold - i might make them up tonight and I have all the bits for my MIL's doggy/cat hamper (actual bits for the dogs and cat as they always get left out).
Ohh now i'm excited again! If I manage my first attempt at cello ok i might post the pics, actually even if they are crap I will post, at least we will get a laughYou can stand there and agonize........

Well I made it into work today and it was worth it! I went to Boots to spend my £5 No. 7 voucher (free from my Mum as she wasn't spending it) and I got:
No7 Men's face Wash - RRP £6.50
No.7 Men's Face Scrub - RRP £6.50
No. 7 Men's Shaving balm - RRP £6.50
All on 3 for 2 then £5 off with the voucher
I spent - £8
Then... I received a new £5 No.7 Voucher with which I bought the No.7 Super Slim Cellulite Cream which is RRP £5 but free with the voucher!
That's a total RRP of £24.50 for the grand total of £8! All for my His and Hers pamper hamper for in-laws No.2. I usually spend around £30 on them so i hope to spend only £15 this year.House saving Targets:

Hi Rusty Flange - the basket was from Tescos last year with about half the contents of my eventual hamper - I then added some other bits to it. Tescos have a similar deal this in the bigger stores - the basket is RRP £12 but a few weeks ago they had it on special offer for £6. This year it was not sea grass tho it was a yellower colour if that makes any sense and seemed a bit thinner. There is also lavendar pot pourri at the bottom...
Rusty - I would skip using £10 notes and just put 5 gold coins in instead buried among the choccies and if they are ungrateful - chances are they would be ungrateful at £10 as well so why bother with the extra £5! :rotfl:
Mary - your hamper sounds lovely as ever, and Sian hope you get some photos up soon as the contents sound lovely!
Chardonnay - I know what you mean about some people doing a lot of hampers - however some of us have a lot of people we traditionally buy for. With hampers we can get good deals on key items and still have the pleasure of giving although in my case for reduced cost. The pamper hamper I posted only cost me £2-3 of new money (post LBM) but is for someone that means a lot to me so I wanted to bless her with something that was really nice...
It's only the start of November, but I only have my mum's present left to sort out, part of OH's, some bits for my nephews and the odd CD for my son. Most of the money used I've earned / made available thro the £10 a day challenge on the DFW board....

However I could substitute it for £5 but my sister would probably be ungrateful as always ... will speak to OH and see what he says. Last year all of his sisters and brother got money in a card but I wanted to do them something with a bit of excitement rather than money in a boring old card!
Rusty, just thought if you are buying Quality Street for your family, you could keep the tin but take out the gold wrapped toffees and give them to S0
