rusty - I have similar problems with sons and girlfriends shoeboxes to be posted. Wanted to fill them but had to think about weight...........so they've each got a flannel of some desription - girlfriend has cup cake to bulk her birthday one out a bit, sock snowman to bulk out the christmas one and son has flannel yule log which fills a gap and they all weigh next to nothing really.
Or, if you've got a spare white flannel you could roll it up a bit like a cupcake, pop some red ribbon round it, some holly in the top and you've got a christmas cake.
I know it sort of detracts from your theme a bit but can't think of anything else that is really lightweight.Mary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

Rusty, what about some shreaded tissue paper which almost hides the items but gives the impression that if you have a rummage you will find lots of nice goodies!!!0

Rusty those are some gorgeous products in that hamper! I love Soap and Glory. How about wrapping each one in some coloured tissue paper- maybe decorate a couple with some ribbon? That would look lovely without adding any weight.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0

It just needs the shred and cellophaning imo Rustynothing else as far as I can see (and very nice it is too
)
The last one you've posted up is the same - might appear to look 'bare' to you as technically, it's not 'finished' is it?It'll look fine with some cellophane under the actual wrapping - imo again

This is a "Hello Kitty" hamper for a friends daughter. Has pjs from Asda, shampoo and shower gel from poundland, sweets from wilkos and other Hello Kitty bits from carboots over the summer!
This is a hamper for a friend with lots of pink toiletry bits, flannel cupcake, mug and notebook set with pen in the shape of a lipstick
They both look really prettyCan I ask what age group the Hello Kitty range is aimed at please as I think my great niece would love something like that.
