Try reindeer instead.... they really do only take 5 mins once you've got all the bits - a flannel, 2 pipecleaners, 1 elastic band, ribbon, 1 small pompom, 2 wiggly eyes - filler for flannel soap or choccies? My DD was able to do it - she's 5.:p I'm not doing sock monkeys either... step too far right now!

I've nearly finished all my presents but I need help with the kids Grandad (ex's step dad)
This is all about him - he's a man , he goes ten pin bowling, fishing, works on the railway and loves chocolate (but he keeps putting on weight)
I thought of doing a fishing hamper but the only ideas I can come up with are things I've already brought him in the past

Wendywitch - I've just seen a book on the Book People website which might be of interest for a fishing hamper - it's called '101 Golden Rules of Fishing'. It is £3.99 instead of £9.99. For some reason this link shows it in euros

  • Hello. I was browsing my local tescos tonight and there were some new products in. Some bath confetti in a tube, pink and a lilac set, there were also mini manicure sets, and 2 nail polish in a little pouch, 2 lip glosses that looked like sweeties in a pouch. All for £2 each. The things that caught my eye though were the mics and footballs/ golf balls as soap on a string, for £2 each. They also had some cute little duck and frog backs with a little bottle, of i'm taking it was bath wash, and a little scrunchy for £2. They looked so sweet i was so tempted to get them for the kids. The thing however that i loved and hinted to my hubby, was a bauble filled with mini bath boms, for £2.....it was beautiful i really loved it. there are other things like this in the £2 range, and I was very impressed. Normally it is just typical rubbish they bring in, but i was so impressed..... well worth a look, would make great stocking fillers :)

thought i'd let you all know!!
