just thought i'd let you all know my local asda has the robot lunch tins plus matching drinks bottles and the cat and dog lunch bags and matching drinks bottles all down to 75p - although they were still marked at £1.50 on the shelf. they also had a few high school musical stationery bits reduced and had got a new range of HSM3 jewellery and clothing in.

ikkle87 don't worry i sellotaped my cellophane at the side on my large hampers last year and i still think they look good and everyone who got one was very impressed! why don't you post a photo on here for opinions/suggestions if you are worried?

thanks for all the brilliant suggestions everyone i am slowly stocking up on goodies and will also be attempting to make flannel cupcakes, snowman soup and pots of gold when all the bits arrive!

Thanks you two, think I am just a little bit emotional cos I don't feel well. I have posted a picture of the hamper earlier on but you cant really see the sellotaped bits. 01102008327.jpg

Its quite a big box so wasnt that easy to wrap. I have another hamper I am going to try and finish tonight while everyone else has gone out because I don't get any peace and quiet otherwise lol.

Sorry to be so over sensitive

    Thanks guys x

    Hi ickle :)

As bunbun2 said, I wouldn't worry too much about the cellophaning going a bit skewiff ;) My wrapping's not so good either lol, but it's the thought that counts and my thoughts are that you've put a lot of effort into it :)

I had a really awkward round box to parcel up in ordinary wrapping paper which I wasn't happy about either tbh, but just adding cellophane made it look so much better. Anyway, don't get disheartened too much as I think we all hit the same obstacle at times, and a few times I've seen cellophane wrapped presents that took an age to get 'just right' ;) be demolished in seconds :rotfl:

Hope you're feeling better soon too x

Hadn't thought of putting cellophane round boxes -unless I used one of the hat boxes I've got -which I don't think I'm going to.
Does give a 'finished' touch though.

Mary I only put cellophane around cos it was a box I got my Boots delivery in and I hate to waste it plus the only baskets I could find big enough were £10+ and I just couldnt afford it so I wrapped the box with wrapping paper and then thought it looked nice but could look a bit better so thats why i used cellophane. Plus the box didnt have a lid and I wanted me ma to have something to open :).

Just wanted to post this (and test if I've followed rosekitten's instructions about little pics ok, lol).

lilian1977 posted a link to some really pretty organza bags, so I bought some with some other items, and although I just plonked those items in, and it's totally unfinished, it's given me an idea of a) how big/small they are (2 x Time Delay items) and b) to show how something like the TD can be 'improved' ;)

    Fingers crossed lol.

Ikkle, I've used a bit of selotape on most of my cellophaned pressies as I am not the best at wrapping them up. I think they all look fine so know yours will too ;)
