Thanks you two, think I am just a little bit emotional cos I don't feel well. I have posted a picture of the hamper earlier on but you cant really see the sellotaped bits.
Its quite a big box so wasnt that easy to wrap. I have another hamper I am going to try and finish tonight while everyone else has gone out because I don't get any peace and quiet otherwise lol.
Sorry to be so over sensitive
Thanks guys x
people won't give a toss about the sellotape, they will just be looking at the rest of the wrapping and trying to guess the yummy contents:D Looks fab. I use sellotape on mine to secure the sides sometimes
I think what the OP was trying to say was if you had spent £lots on a hamper from a respected store, you would expect perfect packaging;)0 -

My DD was able to do it - she's 5.:p I'm not doing sock monkeys either... step too far right now!
It's true! I made my first ones today - one with soap inside, the others with chocolate inside for nieces and nephews. OH is sulking as he wants one in his Christmas stocking now!! :rotfl:0 -

Just wanted to mention to people that at the moment there are some books on M&S that are 50% and 3 for 2
You can get 6 books for £1.50.
There are some autobiographies, cook book, puzzle books and gardening books. Thought they may be handy for your baskets.January Grocery 11/3740 -

Im definatly converted on the Hamper/Basket Idea!!
My grandma died of cancer a couple of years ago so for my mum i have thought about doing a pink cancer research inspired hamper filled with all the pink bits and pieces you can buy where money has been donated to Cancer Research, does anyone think that this would be a good idea?? That way she gets loads of usefull little bits and pieces but also the money has all gone to charity. Also does anyone know where i can buy the stuff as i looked at my local Cancer Research Charity shop yesterday and could only get a HANDBAG, CANDLE & PEN!!
Thanks guys
