ASDA have loads of stuff - This morning I bought men's trunks (grey wth the tickled pink logo on the waist elastic) for £3, a washing-up brush for 79p. They also have bras, knickers, bra & knicker sets, pyjamas, dustpan & brush sets, squeegees(sp?), several different designs of t/shirts and I think there were other items on the stands as well.

***in the car section, they had pink chamois, air freshener and dusters which I think were from last year but the company may have reintroduced them but not for breast cancer, not sure***

*** just remembered that they also had a single use cameras (27 exp) with flash for £1.00***

Hi Rusty, Your hampers look fantastic! I was just wondering please could I ask where you got the blue and pink baskets.

I've been looking at everyone's hampers/baskets and they all look really great, I've been inspired and I am going to try and make some hampers as christmas presents for my family.

The two baskets you have, would be perfect for my niece and nephew.

    Thanks Katie

Hi Katie, as Savingholmes said they are £3 from Matalan :) Thankyou for the kind comments :)

Wow there are some fantabulous hampers on here!!! Well done everyone!

Shelley that looks fantastic! How easy was it to do? Well done :D

Hi again :) I can't for the life of me remember what a particular book store is called, and these discount-type book stores may be all over the country, (but I don't get out much ;)) so apologies if they have been mentioned already.

But anyway, there's one in Bridlington (if anyone's ever visiting the place) and all books are £2 so I call it the £2 book shop lol. Sorry, sidetracking again, but they sell little boxed stocking type filler things too. These are usually in very small boxes and tbh, although I've used them in hampers, I've never actually opened one. I checked the site written in small print lol, on one box and it showed this site and some of the Mega mini kits that I mean:

    www.runningpress.com/

Amazon have an example of the ones I bought here:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dirty-Girl-Blue-Mega-Mini/dp/0762421045/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1223030770&sr=1-1

These are miniature items as I said, but the handy thing is - those were 2 for £2 as were some others including Chocolate lovers boxes and Burt's Bees items etc and are handy to pop into smaller hampers.

Sorry for the long-winded post, but hths :)

Shelly - that candy bouquet is amazing :) Love it! :D
