We have got 2 weddings 2 go 2 next year,,,,we have got an unused wedding album with no box that was bought for us last year.. was thinking of recycling it and putting it in with a hamper for one,,,,but wanted to ask you all if you have any ideas on how to 'present' it with the other items so it doesn't look odd. (being without a box)
Regards Mr and mrs t
you could make a box from some lovely card or just use luxury tissue paper to wrap it and tie with a lovely ribbon bow. If you know the colours of the flowers or bridesmaid dresses, you could try to match up. There are some templates on here to give you ideas http://www.ruthannzaroff.com/mirkwooddesigns/templates.htm
or from an older thread....... Originally Posted by Queenie

Here are some sites with templates for gift boxes; you can print them off, enlarge/reduce/adapt them:-

Hopefully some of those will inspire you (and save you a few pennies)

Okay so you've all inspired me and i've decided to make some baskets for some family and friends this year. Where do you all get the sturdy whicker type baskets from? I've had a look in my local Wilcos and couldn't find anything.
I noticed some really nice ones in Asda last night, and they have a material lining in them to. They started at £5, light and dark wicker.0 -
Hat boxes/ shoe boxes (decorated), or other gift boxes could make good hamper boxes too and can be really pretty :-):jTrying to save as much as i can :THave started my christmas hampers :-)0

Hi guys,
Im definatly converted on the Hamper/Basket Idea!!
My grandma died of cancer a couple of years ago so for my mum i have thought about doing a pink cancer research inspired hamper filled with all the pink bits and pieces you can buy where money has been donated to Cancer Research, does anyone think that this would be a good idea?? That way she gets loads of usefull little bits and pieces but also the money has all gone to charity. Also does anyone know where i can buy the stuff as i looked at my local Cancer Research Charity shop yesterday and could only get a HANDBAG, CANDLE & PEN!!
Thanks guys
Princess

I have just found some wicker type lined baskets in Poundstretcher starting from £2.00 in a range of sizes. The very large ones cost approx £5.00.
I also got some great bargains from Wilkinsons including the Bayliss & Harding Mandarin & Grapefruit handwash and hand lotions for £1.49 each!!! They smell like the Molton Brown Vitamin A,B & C bodywash in similar packaging at a fraction of the cost, so I just cleared the shelf and everyone is getting one of those in their hamper too:DMy mantra is "Never pay full price!"0
