I am all ready to make my sock muffins now.. am going to order some muffin cases from Ebay but before I do, is there anyone that has some of the brown check ones they want to sell? I'd rather help an MSE'er who doesn't fancy making 50 muffins lol ;)

you could make a box from some lovely card or just use luxury tissue paper to wrap it and tie with a lovely ribbon bow. If you know the colours of the flowers or bridesmaid dresses, you could try to match up. There are some templates on here to give you ideas http://www.ruthannzaroff.com/mirkwooddesigns/templates.htm

Here are some sites with templates for gift boxes; you can print them off, enlarge/reduce/adapt them:-

Hopefully some of those will inspire you (and save you a few pennies ;) )

Lovely ideas thank you chris.:T ......I think I will have a go at the tissue paper and the bow. :T

    Hi guys,
My grandma died of cancer a couple of years ago so for my mum i have thought about doing a pink cancer research inspired hamper filled with all the pink bits and pieces you can buy where money has been donated to Cancer Research, does anyone think that this would be a good idea?? That way she gets loads of usefull little bits and pieces but also the money has all gone to charity. Also does anyone know where i can buy the stuff as i looked at my local Cancer Research Charity shop yesterday and could only get a HANDBAG, CANDLE & PEN!!

ASDA have loads of stuff - This morning I bought men's trunks (grey wth the tickled pink logo on the waist elastic) for £3, a washing-up brush for 79p. They also have bras, knickers, bra & knicker sets, pyjamas, dustpan & brush sets, squeegees(sp?), several different designs of t/shirts and I think there were other items on the stands as well.

***in the car section, they had pink chamois, air freshener and dusters which I think were from last year but the company may have reintroduced them but not for breast cancer, not sure***

Thanks :) M&S usually do some items too. I think one of last year's was the t shirt with the "Think Pink" logo.

    Thanks :)

Sorry to quote this post salduck ;) but do you think it might be an idea to put a link in your opening post on the Pictures Only thread to this thread? I know it's not broken so shouldn't be mended type thing, (although this thread's loooonnnggg :D) but I'm so tempted to comment on all the lovely hampers etc and think others might be :) Or even to ask questions, just in case people don't know this thread exists? Although they should :rotfl:

    TIA

I particularly liked your idea about the Mens No7 gwp btw, as I've been staring at 3 of them wondering what I could do with them, (apart from my usual trick of demolishing them and redistributing them into various hampers ;)) but it's a great idea to add to them - so thanks for that :)
