Some ideas would be great please for a hamper for my son's 11th birthday next week. So far I have a Bart Simpson dressing gown (£9 in M&S sale), cool sunglasses, PS2 game and DVD that he wants but that's all. Need some ideas for fillers and also something fairly roomy to put the stuff in. He's into football, playstation and cars (ferraris etc). Help!! Have made loads of hampers for little girls and female relations with great success but just stumped on this one. He's seen all these great hampers and can't wait to get one himself. At the moment, it's not looking too promising!!:o

I''ve got boys myself and find girlie things easier!!!

How about one of those pop up storage tidy things (sorry can't think what they are called!) so he could use it in his room afterwards? Like this... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250283645871

How about some popcorn/crisps/sweets to go with the DVD so he can have a 'film' session?

Playstation magazine (is there such a thing, probably!).

    A football

Some sort of footie related thing for his favourite team - mug etc.

    Sorry, running dry now!

Well I am suffering from withdrawel symptons again! So I have dug out my sons birthday presents and plan to put them into a hamper however I am going to wrap them before putting in the hamper then I am going to number them so he has to open them in number order. Will post pics later when I have started/finished!

rusty - like the 'numbering them' idea - think I'll do that with grandsons shoebox of bits and bobs.
My friend always gives me a bag of odds and ends from the charity shops (weve done it for years now)and she always puts some silly clue on the gift to give me a hint whats inside.

Hi I bought them from wickes cause there was a £10 voucher kicking about ... however since then I have seen them in Woolworths for £1 each, they are a similar size but I had already bought mine (I looked everywhere for them locally, then ventured out to the next town for the first time ever and found them there! :()

Hi Vicki, these are the ones I have

Hope this helps. Just did a search for compartment and it dragged up quite a few things but the first couple of pics were different sized ones.

I'm slowly making my way through reading this thread (I cant believe how many posts there are- all with such good ideas). I found these and thought they would be good for pamper one

    http://www.halfcost.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=11&productId=32076&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=11201&categoryId=11301&cache_entry=-1

Theres also a foot scrubber thing for 50p which could bulk out the basket a bit http://www.halfcost.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=11&productId=31651&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=11201&categoryId=11301&cache_entry=-1
battery organiser and tester- very boring IMO but if you were doing a gadgety type one it might be ok? http://www.halfcost.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=11&catalogId=10001&categoryId=11301&parent_category_rn=11201&top_category=11201&showall=y

They have other cheep bits and bobs, it seems a bit random though! I used a code from hduk and got a tiny discount
