Also bought a brown fabric basket/tray thing from Matalan yesterday for a chocolate hamper, cost £5. I bought the brown circle one... http://www.matalan.co.uk/pages/product-view/004/123/5708/new-paper-trays. Think someone may have mentioned these on this thread already.

I find that a good source of baskets is .... the recycling site. Many towns have them and they're a wonderful source of cheap baskets, all sorts of stuff - quick wash and they're cleaner than they are straight out of the shops! Anyway, I have found an awful lot of wicker ware there, so shall be on the look out for basket-ty type stuff from now on! Thanks for all the ideas. Thanks to you all on this thread, my OH's Cmas present is already done - and I can now afford to give some of my friends presents, which I couldn't last year.If you see me on here - shout at me to get off and go and get something useful done!!0

Here are 3 new ones I've just done (not wrapped yet):
Mum's birthday:
Friend's birthday (she likes dogs and tea, and wanted to borrow the Ewan McGregor books from me so I just bought them cheap from Tesco, there is a packet of tea under it all):
Another friend, also got her Kenzo perfume which is in an orange box so it's a hamper to match:My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

Wow - they look stunning - wish I was going to be on the receiving end!
Many(?) years ago, when you could get paper gift vouchers for £1.00 in Boots etc, and they came with a card we used to give these to each other instead of regular birthday cards. It was like getting an extra pressie if you got 5 or 10 £1 vouchers.
The new-fangled plastic gift cards have stopped all that! Grr:mad:Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
