Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Nipped into dunelm mill today and they had a few things that would be nice for garden baskets / tea & coffee baskets
One was a large cup and saucer ceramic planter which would be large enough to put other stuff in. Really wish I had taken a picture, as it's not on the website (£6.99). The other was a ceramic red welly planter which I did find on the website:

    Hey guys!
Was hoping one of you basket experts could help me. My final 3 items for my brother's girlfriend's hamper arrive today from avon and then I will be able to make it all up ready for her birthday. However I need some cellophane to wrap it as it does have an hours travel in the car to complete with before it gets to her.
Anyway what I was wondering is how much cellophane you need as I'm not sure how much extra you need to get it over the top etc.
Also anyone got a seller ID of a good, cheap cellophane seller on ebay?

    Thanks!!

    Hi Siren,

Link to Flower Hour is here http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Flower-Hour

Depends on the size of the basket to how much cellophane you will need but think ahead, do you have more than one basket to make up? Will you use cellophane for anyone else's presents? etc.

My last basket I only used 1 metre but 2 baskets before that I used 2 metres on one and 3 metres on the other.

Oh and remember your ribbon to tie it, and pictures to show to all of us unwrapped and wrapped.

    :)

I have used this ebay seller - http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Flower-Hour. Great range of cello colours and roll sizes. If you only want enough for one basket I would think any florist would sell you what you need :D

Once I've put all the bits in it I will measure it all over. I'm making some hampers for Christmas but as we have a huge house move within the next month we are trying to avoid having too much stuff to have to move across the country hehe.
Its the width I'm more confused about rather than the length as from what I've looked at on the ebay listings the widths aren't very long.

You can sort of fold the cellophane from the front and back around the sides and use a bit of tape to secure it. You probably won't need as much as you think. I've wrapped numerous shapes and sizes and always been able to do it with the rolls from Flower Hour. HTH :D
