Rainmac STEP AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER!!!!

You have to stop showing me different things which i can add ... I did a bit of a shop on Argos sunday managed to get around £50-£60 worth of Sanctuary goodies all brand new (including a weekend bag kit which is RRP £15) and only spent £23 :o ... So decided I was doing a hamper for my mum, and also my MIL 1 (I have 2 MIL's cause I am greedy, one is lovely and the other is awful!) Anyway I need to pick up my baskets but looked for flannels yesterday and couldn't find any cheaply as I wanted to put flannels in there with all the stuff so now need to learn how to make cupcakes!!!

Hey Rusty, that's exactly how I feel about this site :p I love hearing and seeing everyone else's ideas but then add more things to my to make/to do/to find out more about lists (these are mostly in my head so I'm getting very confused :rotfl: ).

The cupcakes are very easy to make so don't worry. I learnt everything I know from this thread: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=622943

Wilkos 25p flannels are fab, I've seen them in chocolate brown, pale pink, white and pale blue.

Siren - you're lucky about the white chocolate bubble bath - as far as I can see, it's not online! If anyone can post a link to it, please do ...

    thanks in advance

How about Lush? I know they do a lot of chocolate themed stuff. Might not be that cheap though ...

Hehe Rainmac I've just picked up some of those flannels from Wilkos to make flannel cupcakes as well!! I love that case of yours though, where did you get it if you don't mind me asking?

I know avon do a white chocolate bubble bath. Its in the sale at the moment, I think its a pound a bottle!! At least it was in my catalogue.

I got the brown cupcake cases from eBay, this is the seller. They get shipped from Malaysia (I think that's right) and take about 5 days to arrive. Have also bought others from this seller in the past. I've looked for this type of case in shops here and haven't been able to find them.

    HTH :D

Found this seller too (more choice of cases at the moment than Baking Frenzy). I haven't used this seller.

Have to admit I love seeing other peoples creations however it also annoys me cause I know I couldn't make things as good as them! ... Mindyou my OH keeps moaning at me cause I keep making new things. .. I am going to try the cupcakes one each in mum/MIL1's hampers ...

Yesterday I managed to get 2 lots of christmas presents sorted ... well all apart from the baskets, the cups and the biscuits which I can't buy yet cause of the date on them.. Everything is fairtrade:
Coffee, teabags, jam, cereal bars, hot chocolate sachets, and milk chocky.
Plan is to find 2 nice cups with a bird theme, and pack it all into a hamper, add some cheese (aunt is allergic to chocky) and some biscuits and I also have 2 cath kidson tesco bags to pop in there aswell for a fairtrade/recycled hamper. Also the same for my grandad but without the bags (too girly)

I am hoping my scrapbook paper arrives today so I can get the kids door hangars done, also want the socks to arrive so I can do the kids monkeys lol

They sound great Rusty... allergic to chocolate  , I couldn't imagine living without the lovely stuff :p

Good luck with your craft projects - don't forget the pics! Bet your hangers turn out better than mine :D

I couldn't either, there is a general rule in their house that if anyone buys chocolate, for every pack of chocky my uncle has to go out and buy a block of cheese for my aunt! lol

Still no craft papers, so they charge extortionate postage and still can't deliver them in a reasonable time!!! I bet they don't rainmac, I'm not half as talented as you!

I spotted some "rock hard fairies" stationary in Home Bargains today. I thought they would be good for a girls hamper. They had a ring binder (99p I think), pencil case, pack of three pens (19p I think). I didn't have a proper look as I was with the OH. "Rock hard fairies" are a different take on the normal fairy images. They are not so girlie but are bolder colours. Hope this helps someone!
