Finished another basket today, a gardening/relaxing one...

Basket; Garden handbook; blue metal watering can; 2 metal buckets with tealights in; 2 glass jars for tealights; citronella tealights; 2 packs seeds; Cross stitched coaster; mug with spoon in handle; green tea teabags; magnetic notepad; other notebook; 2 little packs tissues (have flowers on); wooden picture frame. Excluding wrap cost about £15. Most expensive items were the organic seeds - they better grow into plants!!! ;)

This thread has been so inspirational - I've been on the Boots thread for a few weeks and now have far too many shampoos and body lotions! So have decided to do hampers for people this Christmas, and this thread is great for ideas.

Going to also do an Italian hamper (pasta, sun dried toms, pesto etc in a colander) for a friend I went travelling round Italy with earlier this year, a movie hamper for a friend who loves films, a chinese wok and soy sauces one (not sure who that's for yet!), a sleepy-time one...ooh, so many ideas!

Looking forward to making a start :D

I was looking for some christmas presents for grandparents from our children and found this, think it is only for schools ( too expensive) however could adapt to MSE style........using fabric paints / pens maybe
I love the poem sammy kaye / shelly...i've got a christening to go to in august / sept, might borrow the children and have a go at that and borrow your idea....thinking might even use for christmas too :D thanks

Maybe you could print your children's pic onto a tshirt transfer, then iron onto tea towel and embellish with handpainted border? Does anyone know if that could work, cos if so, am nicking your idea mr and mrs t !:D

I know Avon do a white chocolate bubble bath and Wilkinsons are also a good place to try, I've had a few things for chocolate hampers from there.
