I would try the pound shops and discount drug stores, I bought some blueberry muffin bubble bath there last week and have had white chocolate shower gel before. Only a £ and I smelt good enough to eat!

Hi dont know if its any use but for your italian hamper, Halfcost did have some Linda Barker retro colanders in pale blue or pink and they were only £2.99 and £1.99 looked really pretty too, they also had some storage jars in the same colours.

Hamper queens- where is the best place to get cheap baskets from at the moment? I want to do MIL a Boots Botanics one for her birthday- so something to hold approx 8 full sized products and a few bits

I have been looking at some of the pictures from last years hampers and was thinking of doing a pamper one with bubble baths etc for a friend, now i deffinatley am and for mum and gardening for dad.
Wilkinsons have started reducing the gardening stuff so going to get some bits in the sale there and i know the 99p shop has a good 50p sale at the end of the gardening season so will keep my beady eye's open there too

I find Wilkinsons good, and also Poundland sometimes have some good ones.

Other people have mentioned that Matalan has some nice ones too.

Home Bargains also do basket sets. I got a set of 4 nice baskets different sizes for £3.99

I thought I would post these candles that are reduced online at John Lewis. The great thing is they offer free standard delivery. I thought they would be a nice filler to a garden hamper.
The first one is a garden? floating candle, choice of three, only £1 each. It says they are 20cm. http://www.johnlewis.com/230450757/Product.aspx

I just wanted to mention that my local poundworld shop had a lot of fishing stuff in today, which looked really good and might be really useful to anyone needing a fishing themed basket.

Just browsing some of my favourite sites, as you do, and for anyone doing a tea hamper, the bookpeople have "The art of tea-leaf reading" for sale at £2 (€4). Just thought it might be of some use to someone.

For anyone doing an Italian or Coffee themed basket I thought it might be useful to know that Makro are doing a large refill pack of Amaretti biscuits for about £3.50. I keep giving my XOH Coffee themed presents, must get more inventive!

AHA! Bright idea - a basket to use when the children visit!

Now all I need is ideas for filling it - one 20yo son, one 16 yo daughter - and NO budget really! LOL
