  • That's lovely!

I made some carrier bag hanger thingies from tea towels too.

<<wonders if tea towel projects will now take over from flannels>>
  • Hi, i found some Simpsons tin type buckets with handles today, in two different designs.
They were in my local Warehouse clearance shop for £1.99 each. :j

Perfect for male hampers christmas or birthday, you can fit a lot in them.

I bought my simpsons bucket before
christmas it was £3.99 in Poundstretchers
store or it may be called Instore in some
    areas.So £1.99 is a good price.

  • Rosekitten, your cushion is lovely. I love the idea and will be going to Primark when I get the chance to see if they have any of those tea towels.

Cupcake things are really popular- my friend almost went mad trying to get a cupcake cookie jar from debenhams that had sold out everywhere!

I think it was on this thread that someone mentioned wrapping their baskets in voile rather than cellophane so that the gifts wouldn't be seen so clearly.
Well, I've got some voile curtains that don't fit, then I bought another piece this morning that was really cheap..........OH asked me how I was going to do it and I had to admit I didn't really know.
Is the wrapping supposed to go round the outside of the basket or go from the bottom inside and then tied with a ribbon at the top..............? Hope I've explained that ok so you know what I mean.
I don't think there were any photos of it done, just photos of those done with cellophane. I'm thinking birthdays at the moment for this voile.

I think if you cover them just the same as
if you were using cellophane you should
be ok.TK Maxx sell baby gift sets covered in
violle so it might be worth a look to help
    you get a better idea

  • Don't forget any unwanted sheer silk scarves, they'd be fine for smaller baskets.
