I'd use tomato puree instead of tinned tomatos.

Depends if you want a snack or a meal, personally I wouldn't find 1/4 of a french stick with a little topping a very filling evening meal, but it would do for a lunch time snack, followed by some fruit etc...

Homemade pizza dough (using free fresh yeast from supermarket) for 12" pizza - £0.60
    Tin tomatoes - £0.15
Chopped onion & other veg - £0.00 from allotment
Grated cheese - £0.50 (I like a lot of cheese)

    Total £1.25 for 6 slices - roughly £0.20/slice
The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.

    Hm...

HM pizza dough using value flour = 5p
( a standard mix makes two bases in my machine)

One squirt each of tomato paste and tomato sauce 2p each? = 4p

Pinch of mixed herbs = 1p

    A couple of mushrooms, sliced = 5p

    Grated cheapo cheese = 10p

There ya go... a pizza for twenty five pence.

OH! You said a SLICE !!!

Erm, well that'd be what? Eight slices? So just on 3p a slice then :)
