Mrs dh and me are back together--i get so dispodent when she is horrible to me. i would never be able to live here if i wasnt with her and it makes me feel very insecure and i am not that kind of person!-in the years i have been here with her we have built a good life and lovely home and i would be 'gutted' if i lost it all-at 48 i think i am too old to re-establish myself again outside of my home town in the uk and i think i would probably drink myself to oblivion if i returned to the 'rut' of my old life!

Lol I had blue and white stripe dungarees in 1989 when I was expecting DD - I looked like Andy Pandy:rotfl:

Bitsy have a big giant squishy hug, you sound like you're in a real funk honey. xxxx

Thanks lovey. Feel better after a bit of sunshine :D

it drives me mental when people tell me to drink more water! i could have clobbered the lady in the chemist, but of course she isn't to know i'm an 8L a day!

OMG 8L a day?!!! I am lucky if I manage 1L a day. how do you not spend all your waking time (and sleep time) spent in the loo?!!!

Sun came out at lunchtime so me and DD had a lovely few hours in the garden :j Like JackieG I've been digging over the veggie patch and cutting back etc. Looks nice out there so need to buy some compost and I can get cracking sowing some seeds as I am waaaaaay behind.

H's interview went OK, need to wait and see if he's got a 2nd interview sometime next week. He's working tonight so just me and DD as DS is staying the night at Granny's. So I shall be living the rock and roll lifestyle and doing the ironing. Am cream crackered but H is working tomorrow too so don't want him spending all Sunday doing the 2 baskets we have waiting
Off to an EYFS conference tomorrow all morning so I shan't check in until the afternoon if I am lucky.

Delamo - Hugs for you. No advice re what to do about buying this holiday home.

Molly - Well done and hope the transfusion day comes round really quickly x

Julie67 - I can highly recommend Jilliam Michaels Shred DVD. It's hard work (and that's level 1) but it's more like interval training and it takes less than half an hour to complete. If you can manage stuff like jumping jacks and running on the spot then might be worth giving it a try? Only cost me £5 from Play.com.

NPM - what a shame Noah isn't with older children at his CM. I don't blame you wanting to pack in work - hope the debt free date isn't too far away xx

red devil - welcome to thread :D Enjoy badminton, it's a good work out.

Have a great evening everyone. I shall have a wee tipple to get me through Ironing mountain ;)

Once DS2 arrives (I have to pick him up from the station), I shall be joining you in a glass of red to celebrate DDs return!
She arrived at Glasgow airport in a pair of shorts (short shorts I may add), a jumper and a pair of flip flops. If I hadn't been to pleased to see her and desperate for a hug I would have been embarassed!! Sooo good to have her back.

Took said DD to the docs so she will have to wait for a referral to the gynocologist (sp) which could take 6-8 weeks! Also went to the bank to pay her overdraft off. Visited the job shop too but you have to phone and then get an appointment with them so she can do that on Monday. She is presently fast asleep so will leave her for an hour or so.

No OS today apart from DW this morning but I am in such a good mood I don't care! Hugs to you all, take care. XX

  • Brisket and Oxtail casserole tonight with wholegrain mustard dumplings - all done in the slow cooker - delish - and lots of leftovers to be frozen for another meal!

Boiled up the potatoes in the casserole and then roasted them off - so they contained all the meaty flavour - really, really nice. Never tried that before - but will do it again.

dh has whisked dd off to a hospital because she has ear ache! my wife's irrational fears seem to be entending to the members of family so this could be expensive!-it costs 80 quid every time she overreacts--h4eavens knows what she will be like when she gets into real menopause--or is this it??!!!-i am on homemade baked beans from the MİL so i am happy-with an odd glass of raki--i saved myself a quid by buying 2 bottles together today so that is my OS attempt for the day!

    Good Evening

Have been unable to post this week due to being so busy at work and home. Feel so tired. DD is home from uni this evening and has requested lasagne for tea tomorrow and chocolate for supper tonight. Will pop out for some. DS3 is sleeping out tonight so it feels a bit strange. I hope that everyone is ok, not had time to read anything yet. Must dash and get the chocolate (think I'll have some for me too!)

Hugs to Everyone who needs/wants one.
